Bought a Turkshit Benelli M4 clone (Four Peaks is the importer, "Coppola" is the manufacturer), styled as the T4-S. Front sight is canted roughly 15 degrees off true. Ghost ring 3-dot sights suck (if you shoot note-forward like most folks who've taken government-sponsored training have, the rear sights are just a hazy blur when they're that close to your face).

 You won't have the sights break or anything. If you get into an adjustable stock from Benelli itself, you're looking at 400 bucks. If you're looking for that Raven Concealment one that I almost bought for this, but I decided against it, that thing, that package is like $500, $600 sometimes if you see it on eBay. So I would suggest if you buy the Benelli in Fort, buy the configuration that you want to keep it in because parts for it are very expensive

I had him shoot the crap out of it, and he really enjoyed it. Now I have shot this a few times, so I can give you my opinions on the recoil and stuff like that, but a lot of the reliability testing was done by him, and he had no issues at all

Benelli M4 Full Review: The Best Tactical 12 Gauge Shotgun?

 What's up guys, this is The Honest Outlaw here, and today I have a pretty cool review

 We have probably the most tactical shotgun ever made, the Benelli M4.

 One of the reasons for that is that this firearm is featured in lots of different movies, anywhere

 from John Wick 2, I just did a video on that a little while ago.

 It's in a lot of video games as well, so it's pretty known in pop culture.

 It's also been used by the military now for, what, about 15 years, something like that.

 I know the Marines still use it, and if the Marines use it, it's got to be pretty good,

 It holds five rounds from the factory, but you can get extra magazine extensions, which

 It's got an 18 inch barrel, it's 7.8 pounds.

 Ghost ring sights, and it runs off a auto-regulating gas operated system with self-cleaning pistons,

 which is quite a bit different from traditional Benelli's that run off an inertia system.

 I have a Benelli Vinci that's a little bit different as well.

 This I believe was the first gas operated shotgun that Benelli ever produced, and boy

 did they knock that out of the park, huh?

 The first thing we always talk about with semi-autos is reliability.

 I know the Achilles heel to a lot of semi-auto shotguns is traditionally reliability, so

 finding one that's actually 100% reliable is pretty slim to none.

 I don't think I've ever seen any semi-auto shotgun that's complete 100% reliable, and

 a lot of that is the failure of the plastic cartridges themselves.

 It's the shotgun, not necessarily the delivery system, but the ammo itself.

 However, the Benelli M4, I believe it went through 25,000 rounds in the test that the Marines

 had it go through without any parts breakages or parts interchangeability.

 They also said it was ultra-reliable, and I can stand by that by my own testing.

 Now everything that we shot through this, we shot through eight shot, we shot through

 mainly this six shot here, this upland load from Federal, and we shot some two and three

 I've recently had a shoulder problem, so I had one of my buddies who is a big shotgun

 I had him shoot the crap out of it, and he really enjoyed it.

 Now I have shot this a few times, so I can give you my opinions on the recoil and stuff

 Along with reliability, you're going to find the Benelli M4 is one of the cleanest semi-auto

 Because of the piston system, it doesn't shoot quite as much dirt and debris in the back.

 However, as you can see, there still is some back there.

 If you see on the internet that you never need to clean your Benelli M4, you'll find

 that you do need to clean it every once in a while.

 As far as durability goes, extremely durable.

 I don't think you'll have any problems with it at all.

 You won't have the sights break or anything.

 Even though I prefer a bead because I've used it forever, these sights on the Benelli M4

 They even have the wings to protect them, which I really like about the sighting system.

 If you want to shoot for accuracy with a shotgun, you want to shoot at 200 yards with a slug,

 I've seen lots of videos online where Benelli M4s have shot 200 yards and beyond with slugs.

 I guess one last upside, it is incredibly low recoiling.

 Partly due to this piston system, I know the other shotgun that I've owned previous to

 the Benelli M4 that had that was the Versamax, and it also was extremely low recoiling.

 These are probably the two lowest recoiling shotguns I've ever owned in 12 gauge.

 I sold the Versamax about a year ago, so it's hard for me to remember which one is better.

 I would say the Versamax, but it also has a 22 inch barrel, and mine was the competition

 version, so it had that long magazine tube.

 I think only because it had a longer barrel, the Versamax was a little bit better, but

 Some of the problems that we had were some ergonomic issues, I would have to say.

 I don't know who they made this stock for, but if you get this and you have the option

 to either get, I would say either get the traditional stock or get the adjustable stock.

 One of the issues with this is if you get this size, you'll find that it's too long.
