Hey bladeops, honestly, it's actually kind of a sad day at the knife shop. We got word that benchmade is discontinuing the 32 balisong. So here is the box. The benchmade 32 Morpho blue class is no longer going to be produced by benchmade, so whatever we have left in stock is what we have left

 This bow alone does not use Tang pins; instead, it has two pins in the handle pin on this side. Okay and a pin on this side. You see here these two pins and basically the butt end of the Tang. You see how it's that design there the pins kind of line up in between on either side of this point, two things which I like about this

 So you have see if I can explain this. I kind of went over this in the other video to the technologies that they use for this. One benchmade calls next generation kick or pin technology and basically the the actual liner itself, the titanium liner. It'S I guess, um, it's split in the lower district

Okay, you can use this if you have some now basic pressure, points and stuff like that, you can keep your knife closed and for self-defense, you know, use this. You know a non-lethal manner

 I had a three inch blade. I was awesome, I carried it forever. I end up selling it and now I miss it because they're very hard to find, but this was a perfect replacement for me. I really liked the upgrade in materials and design said that that's it that's the my review of the 32

 Okay. So if I do happen to do any flipping footage, all I'll just put it in here. Well, I read some of the specs. The specs overall is just blade length here is three point: two five inches blade thickness is zero point

 They look very very nice they're, not super smooth those liners on the edge. You can see a little bit of machining on there, but as for the anodizing, it stays there really really. Well, they do a good job, anodizing the liners and the pocket clip on both my 51 and my 32. I'Ve had relatively nowhere in the anodizing, so that's good! You can see here the skeletonized g10 handles they take off a tiny bit of weight, not much

 This is not a stainless steel, but for being a for not being a stainless steel, it is pretty corrosion resistant. So from what I've heard, it's pretty well just like one step away from being stainless, but I do prefer a stainless for ballast songs, a little bit less upkeep, but for the d2 you're also not going to have to sharpen it as much. It'S got a harder steel. Obviously, what you're going to hold the edge a little bit longer, but it's also going to be a little bit harder to sharpen, as well as you're gon na have to make sure it's oiled, just maintain it, so it doesn't rust

 Obviously, the way they temper it it can vary a little bit blade style crown modified spear point weight is two point: seven ounces you've got a pocket clip which is laser engraved titanium. It'S movable forgot to mention that only in a tip-up carry, but you can put it on either side of the bike handle only on the bike handle not the safe handle overall length. Seven point: two: nine inches clothes length is four point: three nine inches sheath material sheath is sold separately. You do get a little pouch

 This one was given to me by my wife, so it's got a lot of sentimental value to it, and then i also have the other version of the cold steel fgx balusong, which has a tonto blade shape. But those are, you know not really made for cutting they're kind of a novelty, so i wanted to have one that i could actually carry and use on a daily basis, and i'm really happy with this. I think, for the price of under a hundred dollars. You'Re getting a good value made in the usa, good materials with the d2 and g10 and good features like i said

 I know i would prefer to have. You know the usa made one with d2 steel over. You know one made overseas with a lesser steel, so just make sure you check in the specs that you're getting the version that you're looking for so overall, i'm just really happy with this purchase. I uh, like, i said, wanted to add a balusong with a metal blade, and i keep saying that because i actually have two balusongs that are all plastic or fgx

 It has a drawn swedge on both sides and is just kind of what you see a lot of in american-made ballast songs, on the blade shape, as well as the handle shape it has the the holes cut out and the handle. Now it's g10 versus stainless steel. I would prefer the look of stainless steel handles just for the traditionality of it, but i think the g10 looks pretty good also and works well, but it's pretty classic straight handles. You know again, it has these wide guards here and the classic drop point blade shape

 I think, for the price of under a hundred dollars. You'Re getting a good value made in the usa, good materials with the d2 and g10 and good features like i said. I really appreciate that it has the clip and the spring latch, so i've really enjoyed it. It'S a little bit of a novelty

Nice Knife, But Overpriced and I Had Some Flipping Problems

This review is for knife with Cocobolo wood handles.  I really like the knife, it has a good blade and the size is perfect. It's light and not bulky at all. Blade is sharp and is well finished

Good Blade, Horible scales

 A handle scale also cracked (it appears to be to thin and therefore weak as well), so I sent it to Boker USA under warranty. I don't have high hopes regarding repair or replacement, and I suspect the fact the liner is titanium causes inherent problems as it's just too soft to do a proper job. It's a joy to carry due to its light weight, and the blade deploys smooth and fast, but given its fragility it's an insane amount of money to spend on a Chinese made knife. Based on my experience I will avoid Boker knives and would suggest others do the same (at the very least with this model in their line of products)

 I've never owned a knife that failed so quickly with such light use, and I'm surprised at the popularity and continued production of the Urban Trapper. The CEO knife is built like a tank in comparison, and is less than half the price for the base model. Not as nice a steel but holds up under much harder use.

 I use knives a lot, but they're mostly handling every day chores and light tasks. This thing developed vertical blade play almost instantly with limited and light use, and it's not correctable (or at least it's not easily correctable) due to its design. The lock bar has so little room to work with any kind of slight tolerance discrepancy = a poor lockup. That can't easily be remedied and sometimes isn't possible under any circumstances

This is really a five star knife. So why only four stars? I love the weight. Love the blade shape. For me the blade length is great being slightly longer than my Keyshawn leek as an example, which is a great knife but the blade length on the urban trapper is prefered for some food tasks such as slicing cheese and sausage etc

 Most importantly the Kizers blade is dead smack in the middle. This Boker although its a nice knife . It's not as smooth in its action and the blade is isn't exactly center. That bugs me

 The difference between the two is $40. The Boker being more expensive. I must say I wish I stuck with the Kizer. The Boker has the Kizer beat as far as quality materials go but here's my issue
