I carry an ESEE Candiru in my day pack along with a small fire steel, bic liter and a SAK. Between these, I’ve got a knife for small bushcraft type work and a tool/knife for non hard use situations and 2 ways of making fire fairly quickly. The Candiru is small but very tough, easy to sharpen and with some skill and practice, you can do just about everything you would need to do in a survival situation.

Sheath did not come with belt attachment . Handle is a little small and short for me. In fairness it was designed as a all purpose not specific to one task .that said I liked the handle while processing my buck

It's very comfortable in my hand and at about 6.5" is perfect for my EDC. I'm 6'6", 200lbs and tend to opt for gear that average sized guys would pass on. The only flaw is the sheath

The sheath is made from hard plastic, not Kydex. The fit is tight, and requires a little bit of force to lock it in. The belt clip is excellent, and will not come off without a degree of force.
