Excellent Knife - Just Wish The Clip Was Stronger

 That way, it does not ever fall open on its own. I carry my barrage in my pocket often and usually don't lock the blade shut with the switch on the knife, but it's probably a good practice to do. I've never had a problem though.  I'm not a huge fan of the plasticy scales (sides of the handle) that come with the knife, but I'd much rather have a stellar blade and locking mechanism than worry about the feel of the handles

 The axis locking mechanism is superb and holds the blade firmly in place with very little wiggle. With a pull on the release mechanism the blade is easy to close, and the way the release is positioned, it ensures your fingers are away from the blade as it's closing. But be careful as with any good knife -- it is sharp!!  The axis-assist open works very reliably and swiftly. As you use the thumb stud to push the blade out of the knife, it crosses a threshold (of about a centimeter open) where the knife opens on its own and locks into place

Great pocket knife

 It has a hollow plastic design that no doubt was to save weight due to the steel liners inside. Other reviews have pointed out that you get a cheap feeling due to this. I agree thus 4 stars instead of 5. I would have liked a more rubberized solid grip even at the expense of more weight! Put this into the Can't Get Everything You Want bucket

The Pocket Perspective

 So you know this. This one is in k390, which i think is a fantastic steal. K390 is one of my top three folder steals right now, uh so is m390 and then also s90v. So those are my top three picks in no specific order

875 inches, it's using a fairly thin stock, uh 0.093 or essentially it's it's two and a half millimeter Stock, this is a very lightweight knife, so on the specs it says it's supposed to be 1.2 ounces or 34 grams coming in at 33 grams on mine or 1.164 ounces, so a little lighter than specs

 Today, we're going to be reviewing the spyderco dragonfly 2. i'm going to go over the specs, then the design and build quality i'll weave in my thoughts and experiences along the way sum it up with a quick overview and tell you why you should or shouldn't buy The knife so starting off with the specs, so the dragonfly is obviously a small knife. The blade length is coming in just over two and a quarter. In fact, the specs say it's right at two and a quarter inches uh, the handle length is uh, 3

 It'S not a problem there and you can open it. Two hands people. You know just pick this knife up and intuitively know how to use it if they're not a knife person, and i think that if you're a spyderco fan, you should definitely have at least one of these knives so yeah. I would definitely recommend this knife so moving on to why you should or shouldn't buy the knife, you should buy it if you're looking for a sub two and a half inch blade that is really lightweight, you should buy the knife if you're looking for something that Is easy to hold on to with great ergonomics and you should buy the knife if you're looking for a good backup or a knife, that you can hand to others to use and why you shouldn't buy the knife, you shouldn't buy the knife, if you don't like Back clocks, you shouldn't buy the knife, if you don't like wire clips and you shouldn't buy the knife if you're on a budget

 Although it has a cheap look and feel, and doesn't have great gripping ability, it does help keep the weight down. It does seem plenty strong though. The Blade is made of high quality steel. VG-10 was created for enhanced corrosion resistance, as well as hardness and its ability to get a very sharp edge. The length is fine for small job around the house and in the office, as the flat ground edge is perfect for slicing tasks. The thumb hole, which is mentioned all over the Internet, has sharp edges on it

 The blade is tight, is perfectly centered, and has absolutely no side-to-side or top-to-bottom movement.  I'm giving it 4 stars, because I can't give it 4.5. If the handle were made of a nicer material, and the thumb hole didn't have sharp edges, I would rate it 5 stars

 It has gone through the wash a few times, and it is my most frequently misplaced knife due to it's small size and feather weight.  The short blade is very functional due to the 50/50 coil and aggressive jimping, but the small grip doesn't inspire too much confidence. The frame flexes a little, reminding you that it is a light duty knife. It is flickable, but you might have to tune the main pivot screw for optimal function

 I'm no expert on steel but I recall the main characteristic of this steel is the ability to hold a very sharp edge for a very long time while being used very much. The downside of this is that it requires a lot of time and effort to resharpen once it gets dull. As stated, I'm no expert on steel and I'm not a steel snob. This is my first ZDP knife

75" of usable grip length when the choil is included. Furthermore, most of that grip length is made up of Spyderco's FRN handle with its bi-directional pattern and ergonomic shape. Hard to describe but the thing just snugs up to the crease in your palm, sticks there and your fingers fall into the sweet spots without even thinking about it. Ergonomics
