Tyler here with gpknives and today, we've got the benchmade Kasbah. This knife has a blade v from CPM s30v for a high level of wear and corrosion resistance.  That'S still plenty of thickness, therefore, hard use handle thickness is fairly similar with the Kasbah having just a little more of a full and rounded handle, and also be just a little bit shorter, while still offering a nice full forefinger grip ergonomics on this knife are very Solid, it's easy to hold in a variety of grips and it's very utilitarian very comfortable. It'S a little jimping here on the inset liners gives you a little more traction on the spine and also some chipping here at the index finger and here at the rear for traction in a reverse grip. You can see that Kasbah on my pocket, the stainless steel deep carry pocket clip, puts most of the knife below the line of the pocket, provide, secured, carry and smooth deployment of the knife. The knife allows for access to other items in the pocket despite a more robust size and the heavy texturing on the handles, and overall this knife carries very well for EDC use

This knife is great, the size is a bit intimidating, but I knew that going in. It had a decent edge on it right out the box and the action is smooth. Its a joy to flip open using the flipper or the thumb stud, and I can even do a spidey flip despite the massive size. Here's the issue

 It leaves my hand in the direct line of fire of this giant blade. I wish it had a lock similar to the benchmade axis lock where I could keep my hands awy from the danger of this huge blade closing. That being said, I haven't come close to cutting myself.

Maybe TOO well built!

 Blade out the box comes extremely sharp. Slices a single sheet of paper clean. Nice weight to it without being dramatically heavy(0.60lbs)

Quality on a budget

I own many knives and this one came as a surprise. Like I’m literally taking 20 minutes out of my day to take some really good pictures and write this review so more people will buy and enjoy this beautiful behemoth.  For starters, this is a big knife, probably not an EDC for everyone, but for me it will be because I love big knives and my hands are big. Just know, If you whip this bad boy out in public, it’s gonna raise some eyebrows

 The blade is thick, sturdy, and sharp. I already cut myself…😅 Anyhow, This is going to be perfect for work.  Would I buy it again? Yes…10 of them if I could.  I just want to let the manufacturer know that they nailed this design and to keep up the great work
