I swapped out one of the steel scales with G-10 one from the other knife and now both weigh in at acceptable 5 oz. And it looks pretty cool (see the pictures)

 For the price, this knife would have been great, almost perfect, if the steel scales were made out of lighter aluminium. As is, this thing weighs in at porky 6 oz. Way too heavy for 3.5 inch blade pocket knife

I really like this knife. It feels good, opens smoothly, locks firmly and comes razor sharp. It looks pretty sleek too. The ball bearing pivot is nice and smooth and this is a nice knife for the price, especially considering that it has an s30v blade

 But I'll tell you one thing: this absolutely takes any bear knife made and completely wipes its ass with it. So just because it's Chinese doesn't mean it's going to be bad, and just because something's American doesn't mean it's going to be good either.  But today is something a little different, still riding on bearings. But it's a balisong, that's right! This is the new max ace Covenant. Now there was a little bit of storms on the underground about this, possibly being a valley plus release. I don't know what is the truth of that? I do know one thing: it is branded as a max ace now and I think it is definitely worth a worthy of the name max ace, because this thing is above and beyond anything I have seen Valley Plus put out the fit and finish on this knife

This time from the company max ace max ace has a pretty good reputation in the community already for making good quality flipper folders, mostly bearing pivot, flipper, folders and frame locks and liner locks. But today is something a little different, still riding on bearings. But it's a balisong, that's right! This is the new max ace Covenant

 Yeah, I mean that's a good shape for a working shape for a blade, and so I really like just the the EDC aspect of this the work aspect of this night. It'S definitely it's got that going for it, but I want to say this about max-age knives. Look at this handle right, there's carbon fiber inlays, and it's almost straight, but there's just this little tiny, tiny bit of taper to these handles - and you know it's there's a lot of design here right, there's a lot of creativity and thought process that go and goes Into this handle and then bring up the same max, Hayes, Pelican right same thing, look at this handle the amount of thought, and just just you know, engineering and art artistry that went into the actual overall design of this knife right same thing with this right here. Another Mac sakes look at these handles it's actually reminiscent kind of reminiscent of the Pelican

 You know it's not mobile, because it is held in place, but in two different points, but you've got that little you've only got one actual fastener, and so it adds an interesting aesthetic to the handles of this. This knife, as well as just a strength and overall construction, because it isn't actually screwed into that back spacer and you are running on that kind of barrel. That barrel, you know male and female pivot system, and so that is actually giving that's. Gon na add an extra amount of just rigidity and robustness to the design

Sure this is all Maxie's covenant. I like this knife. This thing is freakin sick I'll give in to what I think that is here in a minute right. This is the trick that I'm working on pinky pinky it's the hardest

 It'S all stainless steel, but it's still balanced. You know right there. It'S got. It'S got a really good balance point
