Away The Everywhere Bag vs Bellroy Lite Sling

*Post first real use a noted a design flaw - the strap on the back of the tote is too thin for this size tote and does not sit/move easily on top of carry on luggage when full. The strap could be twice as wide w/corresponding Velcro and strung tighter for snug fit over suitcase handles (which it currently does not). It did however fit under a Southwest seat.

The bag is so well designed, that I got compliments on the look, and it was with me everywhere on my week long trip. The bag expanded enough for a water bottle, and when I didn't have one in, it fitted my DJI OM5, two phones, and a X100F, plus my wallets and hotel cards. 10/10 would recommend

Seems to be the perfect size, but won’ really know for sure until I use it on a trip. The attachable crossbody/shoulder strap will be very useful when my hands are filled with other luggage and paperwork. This is a nice looking, study, well designed bag.

The fact that it could hold a bigger water bottle is a bonus. In the end, while I liked it the size of the front pocket bothers me.

This sling bag looks and feels like something you get for free in a promotion. feels cheap to the touch with very thing and noisy materials. The zippers got jammed when I tried to open it, and I was afraid to break it. This bag is not worth more than $19

I am planning on taking a two week long trip to Russia. I am flying economy on Finnair and am allowed one carry-on that can be US domestic size as far as measurements go, but it is limited in weight to 17.5 pounds. I do also do not want to check a bag as I have a tight connecting flight, and I do not want to arrive without my luggage

Lightweight for those airport ad-hoc weigh-in ambushes when they want all your items included and allows me to get around for up to 48 hours on the go, especially when travelling.
