And when it comes to street appeal, this bike has it. We love the streamlined design with the frame-integrated &#40;yet still removable&#41; battery and the look of the tan-wall tires. We felt great in the saddle of this bike.
The biggest disadvantage of the Aventon Sinch is its significant weight. Folding bikes have portability as a large part of their appeal, and this model's nearly 70-pound weight makes it tough to lift in and out of car trunks and trailers. Its folded size is also one of the largest we measured, though it can still more easily fit where non-folding bikes cannot. We were also disappointed that this model does not come with many included features, although Aventon sells accessories to customize your ride. Yet, for the smoothest and most stylish ride in a category not known for either, the Aventon Sinch is going to satisfy.

 It weighs in at 68 pounds, which is the same weight we saw at the other Sench. It's got a seven-speed drivetrain and mechanical disc brakes with 180-millimeter rotors. On our review model of the Sench, that's a Shimano Altis drivetrain with Tektro mechanical disc brakes, which have performed very nicely for us. There's also an RST guide fork to take the edge off of bumps on the front end

 In the throttle only portion of the test where I didn't help it at all with my legs, it made it to the top in one minute and 35 seconds with an average speed of 11.4 miles an hour. Then in PAS5 where I added the help of my legs, it made it to the top in one minute, 14 seconds with an average speed of 14.7 miles an hour

I'm here at Stony Creek Metro Park and this park has a ton of trails and varying trails at that, so there's the light sandy ones that we've just gone on, there's gravel, and there's pape, which we're about to hop onto. I like the variety. It really showcases this bike nicely in the way that it can handle all sorts of different terrain

I've been riding along for quite a while on pedal assist three here so I'm not taking away too much power but I have been riding a little bit and on inclines and it's reading right now at 98% and I think it's giving me a more appropriate and expected reading now that I've charged the battery up three full times and really balanced it out to give me an accurate more accurate range rating. I really enjoy this wide saddle. It's super comfortable in combination with the suspension and the fat tire

 The 500 watt hub motor is paired with five pedal assist modes and a thumb throttle with a maximum speed of up to 20 miles per hour. With pedal assist level five, I can achieve a 24 mile per hour top speed by unlocking this feature in the app. See my unboxing video for instructions on how to do that.
