And A lot of times you can go something like five to 30. This doesn't say five, I Haven't actually tested it too much off road,, but lowering the pressure a little bit, you're probably okay doing that. After likely giving up on a Lectric XP Lite, I'm hoping to see whether there might be a unicorn ebike out there that suits our needs (or whether maybe something custom-built would be a better route to go down) and curious for this sub's thoughts. This bike is entirely going to be used for commuting around DC, including biking a toddler/child on the back. I'd expect it would get ridden about 20-30 miles a week.

Here are the absolute must-haves for us:

* Weight - Under 50 lbs
 
* Gearing sufficient to avoid ghost-pedaling at high speeds (this was the problem with the Lectric)
 
* Rear carbo rack with a 55+ lb capacity (or the ability to easily install such a rack off the shelf)
 
* Upright riding style (like a dutch bike or a bmx)
 
* Low-step or stepthrough frame
 
* Throttle (Class II ebike preferred to Class III)
 
* Minimal custom / weird parts to allow for straightforward repairability

* Reliable parts / decent build quality (even if not super high-end)

Does anything come to mind, especially that is not insanely expensive? Would love to keep to a max of ~$2,000 if possible.

Sinch- same folding pros. Radrunner/plus- I like the looks of the bike the passenger kit may be cool I have younger nieces and nephews. Aventon Aventor- I like the speed on this bike. Doing research I see a lot on these bikes(probably because they spend $$$ on advertising)
