 The only small issue I had, which seems to have gone away by this point, is that the piston would make a small squeaking sound when it went up from sitting to a standing position. Other than that all is well now in the movement is extremely silent and smooth setting up the smart desk only took a drill and some willpower, and I got down in around 2 hours. If you like, the setup I have in the video, which is a walnut table top and black Business Edition legs, it'll run you about 449. That may seem like a lot, but it compared to other standing desks of the same or less quality

Great Frame Wish It Included The Table Top For The Price..

 I really should have bought the one with the tabletop rather than leave it to my own devices. I have seen elsewhere the quality of the AI desktops, and they are pretty great. With my own tabletop, I had to measure and drill pilot holes and other places for the frame to go in. For the four additional hours I had to spend finding a good tabletop (not that easy to get the right size and weight distribution), drill the pilot holes correctly (not easy for someone as bad as I am with home projects), and then attempt to assemble

  After assembly with the dampeners, I thought the engine was pretty loud, and this is even compared with my older model Evodesk, but I also closer to the motor than my Evodesk. We will see how this motor runs, but the warranty on this Evodesk is quite long, and the motor looks replaceable in case of full mechanical or electronic failure. I recommend this for a straight desk with the hesitation that you probably want to buy the included tabletop rather than bring your own in most cases.

 This desk is one of Autonomous's newer lines, and having had an Evodesk for a long time, I wanted this for my bedroom as a worktable.  I have to confess that I have a little bit of buyer's remorse with this in terms of not getting an included tabletop. I really should have bought the one with the tabletop rather than leave it to my own devices. I have seen elsewhere the quality of the AI desktops, and they are pretty great

I'm 5'6 and after looking around a bit i had narrowed down my choice to the Uplift V2, Fully Jarvis, Flexispot E7 and the Deskhaus Apex Pro, I wanted something that would be solid and last for a long time. I ended up going with the Apex Pro which probably is an overkill choice but i am quite happy with the Desk and it feels solid, hopefully it won't die on me but only time will tell. Shipping time was surprisingly fast, I paid about 380USD for shipping to Switzerland and the desk got here undamaged within a week.

 The color of the desk top that I chose is very nice against all my black peripherals. I love that the desk comes with the option to have the contour in the front or just straight across. I chose the contoured version and I'm glad I did as it's much easier and more ergonomic to use when standing and walking.

 Nothing seems to be any less stable. As long as you aren't hammering on it, you'll probably be happy with the stability.

 Everything is somewhat straightforward, but be sure to follow the instructions for the t-shaped parts (You'll see what I mean). Also make sure you don't pinch one of the wires between the frame and tabletop.

 They've included two grommets for running wires, and both are located where you'll actually want them (in the corners). The desk is stable, and I was surprised to find I really like the curvature they've added to the front.

-Don't just stand still. Standing still is just as bad as sitting all day. Shift your weight, step to the window. Take advantage of the fact that it is much easier to move around when you're already standing

I also found assembly Step 4 to be poorly explained. It highlights the instructions as "very importnt", but I think it could describe things better.The legs attach to the cross-member through friction levers and they are very simple once you understand how they work. All four levers are identical and I spent some time trying to find size differences

 Fortunately for me, the interior foam protected the desktop from intrusion damage and the desktop was fine. So, my first concern, damage in transit, proved unfounded.

In my opinion this desk deserves more than five stars. I love the looks, I like the build quality, I like the functionality and I find it an excellent value when considering price-performance. Well, I actually like this so much that I ordered a second unit to replace another desk and I believe that is the ultimate rating - Yes, I would buy it again, and I did.

 Typing, moving the mouse, even lightly hitting the table to test wobble will not give almost at all. As a programmer, I look through a lot of small characters and words, wobbling makes it pretty hard to read; I actually have a hard time sometimes when my laptop screen shakes while I use it even the small bit it does.  The price is well below what this product is worth, and I would love to return to buy my next desk from ApexDesk.

 The tabletop arrived two days early, and the leg and other assembly the next day with a day still until the predicted date on purchase. Not only was the desk in perfect condition thanks to ApexDesk layering in plenty of Styrofoam in the boxes and even more materials for padding, but they sent me a free set of cutout covers and a free cable tray. The cable tray they sent me for free is solid metal and very sturdy, and a decent size at that! When I got it out of the box, assembly took about 30-45 minutes from start to first stand at the desk raised up. They had a letter included and mentioned that the cable tray was a free gift and I was randomly selected, and that I had no obligation to mention it in any review I write

 This desk is as stable as I could imagine a standing desk being. The tabletop is also very good quality from what I can tell, it feels sturdy, and leaning on it DOES NOT make me feel like it is going to break. The ergonomic shape is really nice and it truly helps with being closer to the monitors and make the desk all around easier to use.

Superior Quality and Usability for Gaming, Programming, and School!

First, I can say the desk is really attractive. Quite sturdy in the lowered position (can't speak to the raised position, see below). It went together easily in a minimal amount of time. It was well packaged against potential damage, although the top did arrive with a minor dent on the bottom beveled rear edge

 Here's the problem...I ordered one separately (and was charged $32) when I ordered the desk

..customer service hours M-F 8-5 Pacific. Began assembly of the desk on Friday at 4pm ish… discovered it wouldn't go up and down just after 5pm
