 The headshot on it is an AT-HS4 universal half inch mount head shell, and it includes the AT-VM95E dual moving magnet phono cartridge in black with an elliptical stylus. It has a straight matte finish carbon fiber tonearm with hydraulically dampened lift control, metal lift lever, and lockable rest.  Once you have that, you're going to put it back over into the holder, lock it in, and adjust the very front of the tone arm weight, just the numerical part, so it says zero on top. Then you're going to turn that entire weight to right about to kind of 1.8 to 2. Really anywhere between 1

 So today we're going to be talking about the brand new Audio-Technica AT-LP-W50PB.

 So today we're going to be unboxing and doing a setup and initial review of

 the brand new Audio-Technica AT-LP-W50PB.

 We're just going to pop that off and sit that off to the side.

 You have your instructions and you have a rubber mat.

 So it is kind of a heavier rubber mat than a lot of their tables probably have.

 So that looks like that's pretty good quality there.

 So the platter is going to be located at the bottom here like all their turntables.

 It's going to be taped in, so you take that off, you flip it, and you open the sides.

 And then all your accessories are going to be in the sides.

 So it does come with your head shell and your dust cover hinges.

 And then you have your 45 adapter and your weight.

 You have your cords right here, which we're not going to use right now.

 So we're just going to put them to the side.

 And let's just open this up and take out and see the new finish.

 So this does have a gloss black finish, so it is a new to the line finish.

 You have a nice gloss black finish on the table.

 And you have their brand new isolation feet on the bottom right here.

 So nice movement in those feet and flexibility.

 So that'll give you plenty of isolation.

 You have your motor and your preamp there on the bottom.

 It has a little bit of weight to it, which is great.

 And if you're setting this table up for the first time,

 just kind of follow this lead on how to set it up.

 It has a little bit of weight to it, but it has a black finish on top.

 And if you notice the red piece of felt here, that is your belt.

 you're going to just pull that to put the belt over the motor.

 And the belt will be right here on the inside.

 And you just place that belt right over the motor, and you're done.

 just like that with a little bit of resistance from the belt.

 So the next step is get all of your accessories out of the styrofoam pair.

 All right. So just get the rest of your accessories out of the styrofoam sides

 So you have your head shell, both your hinges, your tonearm weight, and your 45 adapter.

 We don't need the 45 adapter right now, so we'll just put that to the side.

 So we're going to put the weight on first.

 The weight goes with the numbers facing forward.

 And you're just going to put that on right now.

 It snaps in, and then you can turn it, and it will go as adjustable at that point.

 Then you're going to put your head shell on.

 You're just going to press that right into the front here and put that right there.

 Now, the turntable comes with a VM95E stylus on there.

 So that's kind of cool because it matches the table.

 Typically, that cartridge is going to be green.

 So if you were to replace it with another stylus, it's going to be green.

 So next, you're going to take your two dust cover hinges, and we're going to put them on the dust cover.

 So you should be careful with this, as typically the dust covers are pretty fragile, and you don't want to break them.
