 There'S a lip, an overhang on the top of the plinth of the 120x and you're sort of scrambling. A little bit to try and connect everything. Now, that's just the one hit, and it's a small thing, but it's there. The fluence is a lot easier to connect in terms of putting your cables into the rear, rca sockets

 So, as you can see, all of these turntables all try and find a particular niche somewhere they can sell their turntables from and because of that, as the old saying goes, you pays your money and it takes your choice literally in this case, for a 250 pounds. Turntable which compromise appeals mostly to you, do you want a hardcore, audiophile type 10 table as offered by rieger, or do you want a more feature-laden, rather friendly approach to turn table design? Well, if you do want the features - and you want that rather friendlier approach, then my personal choice to fill that particular slot is the audio technica 120 x for the price for 250 pounds. The 120x offers a superb blend of features and sound quality, and i don't hesitate at all in recommending it to you and that's it folks. Thank you very much for sticking with me to the end of this video and thank you for your continued support

 So this sound stage is pretty busy and it's going to take a decent turn table to work. Everything out and not become overly muddled. Now before we go any further, i gave the internal phono amplifier a quick, listen and it's fine, it's okay! It'S not amazing! I wouldn't rely on it. I think if you bought the 120x and you've used all your budget and you ain't got any more cash it'll do for now

 Reach from the 120x was superior, but the whole dynamic range from top to bottom from the highest to the lows, was greater. I felt bass itself felt rather more organic. Now i mentioned the bite from the acoustic guitar strum earlier on, and the raft of information around that simple motion. There was much more information around this area from the 120x, the fluence, well it nodded towards the acoustic guitar strums, but it never dwelt upon it

It has great reviews, the performance, the looks, the design, the sound quality audio technica hats off to you. You'Ve done a brilliant, brilliant job with this. This is such a good bit of kit

 You don't need to get a top of the range high five for this to sound great, of course, granted. If you do have a decent ifi use it it will sound better, but what i'm getting at is the prams on these are brilliant. You don't need to spend even more money to make this sound good out of the box. This sounds good and if you're worried about the preamp in it from the older model, they have changed it now, because the older model there was reports that some of them they were fine

Audio Technica LP120 X Setup and Review

 It does have a hydraulic dampened. Lift control which i found does make it easier when you're putting the stylus onto the record, but still you have to manually, lift up the stylus and place it on the record. I did not find this to be a bad thing, because automatic turntables have more things that can go wrong and break, but with manual turntables, there's less moving parts, there's less things you have to worry about. Repairing also sound quality with manual turntables is way better than those that are automatic

 Not only is this record player built impeccably, it also just has a really cool style. In my opinion, i opted for the silver version, but this turntable also comes in black. I just love the feel of this record player from turning it on to selecting what kind of record i'm listening to from lifting up the stylus from even putting the record on the feeling, and look of this turntable is just something i cannot correctly put into words. The amount of thought that went into its design is just incredible: not only are there cool lights to set the mood, but there's also lights that are very useful

 But this record player in particular, is all i think gon na need to really enjoy and love the sound of vinyl again, if you're interested in this audio technica record player, i have an amazon link below, so i really hope this video helped you out.  Build quality, is a dream to listen to is compatible with every record size and can convert your vinyl to digital. If you so choose, this turntable is great if you're getting into vinyl, or you just really want that upgrade sure you could spend a thousand dollars for a record player. Record Player Review - Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB

First off, this is Amazing sounding unit, and across the board I would rate the features as quite nice. Everything is top notch. However I have to drop it from 5 star to 3 for not having an automatic reset of the arm after the record completes playing. This was standard feature for decades for any high end unit

 I never even considered in my wildest dreams that for this price you would not include automatic arm reset. I very much feel like I have been conned. Quite sad.

I'm writing this review about 24 months after purchase. This is my second TT and I upgraded from an AT-LP60, which lacked the bluetooth feature of the current AT-LPXBT.

 I am running a pair of 8" subwoofers in my setup, but have noticed no difference in low-end bass. Tracking force is just a smidge under 2.0g

 then turn the anti-skate dial to match (1.5)  Next I had issues with hooking it up to USB, no sound was coming out of it to my PC.. wasted about 30 minutes troubleshooting windows sound settings and Audacity settings, etc, until ultimately figuring out that there's a tiny easy to overlook switch on the rear of the record player which is set by default to Phono, so slide it over to Line and USB audio will work

An amazing sounding player, with amazingly clear sound that sounds like I'm playing a CD or digital file when playing a clean and flawless record! 5 stars for the sound quality. the build quality is great too for the price you pay and the features on it are amazing as well.  However I am giving this an overall 4 star rating, because for someone who hasn't touched a record player in nearly 2 decades like myself, and I'd imagine especially for beginners whom this may be their first record player or first rock bottom budget player, the lack of any setup instructions included in the box other than assembly instructions wasn't helpful when time came to setting up the tonearm counterweight and tracking force of the stylist.

Amazing player for the price, Great for PC backup but could use some better setup instructions.

 I have not tried software to digitize records yet so can't speak to that. Bottom Line = Unit works very smoothly and sounds great to my ear..

 I was ready to box the unit back up and return as defective for a new one. Glad I called Audio Technica support center first. To play through the computer or use software to convert records to digital, your computer sound system must first be set up to activate the turn table sound. The support Tech was very helpful with the set up

Great Unit but very poor setup documentation...

 The item did not include a user's manual, any product warranty registration information, and no software for using the device with my computer. In all the pictures, there appears to be a sylus light and there's a port to install it, but there was none provided. Given the lack of documentation and software, I'm not sure if there was SUPPOSED to be this part or if it's an optional part I have to order separately. I went to the Audio-Technical Facebook page and posted a question, and got a response to email the parts department

It's a nice turntable, but...

 The power died and I could smell electrical "burning" coming from the unit. The start/stop button does nothing now and the power cycles on/off with an audible hum. I have checked the power supply and the fault is definitely in the direct-drive motor. Really disappointed as some features are great and overall I was pleased with this consumer unit but they obviously went the bargain-basement route with parts on this one

Died in less than a year.
