At 30 mph you're going to be using a lot of battery power, so at 3k I'd suggest getting the most battery you can. Since you liked the HyperScorpion Express, I'd suggest actually taking a look at the HyperScrambler 2 at 2950 or the Ariel Rider Grizzly at 2950. They both have dual batteries which are going to be needed for longer distance high speed throttling, while in a similar style to the hyperscorpion.

I weigh 160 and gaining.

I live in a flat city with lots of potholes and very poorly designed bike lanes.

I do caviar, doordash, etc.

I've seen people cruising around on super73s and other bikes of that style. Looks more fun and comfortable than a standard bike. Plus the fat tires are a plus with these streets.

I'd like to keep the price &lt; 3000. 

I'd really like to be able to keep up with traffic at around 30 mph. They don't fix potholes in the bike lanes where there are lanes. So as a cyclist, I'm often forced onto the sidewalk or have to just go through smaller potholes or people will actually accelerate to pass me in the road, not fun. 

I'll be adding fenders, headlights, rear lights, mirrors. 

I am open to upgrades and conversions.

Ariel Rider Grizzly. I bought it for the range, smooth ride and extra torque to help you go up hills. I haven’t received it yet so we’ll see how it goes but I’m pretty sure I’ll love it.

What Ebike did you get for yourself and why?

 That's the only really knock on it, but overall it's still pretty decent. Right now I can see it because there's a little bit of cloud cover, but when the sun's fully exposed, it is a little bit tough to read the display. We're just going to do a quick little speed test. While we loved the wealth of features, it made assembling the Nakto a little more involved and time-consuming than most. It wasn't difficult by any means, but it took an hour to complete the process. We were also a little underwhelmed by this bike's pedal-assist system. Not only were the display and controls quite basic, but it only has one pedal assist level. It works; it's just a little less sophisticated than some of the other bikes we tested. That said, we still feel this is a quality, comfortable e-bike with a great range and cargo capacity.

 It'S really just overkill. So that's another reason why they could save money or you could save money really by buying this bike by getting a little slightly lower voltage battery. But, like i said, the acceleration is very good on this bike and it will do 20 miles an hour right out of the box. You can you can go into the menus and change

 I spent a good month checking out e-bikes in fine detail before going with this one, and i guess, if you kind of want the short version of it, i'm extremely happy with it and i highly recommend it. So why do i say that several reasons actually first thing: i want to talk about and kind of the most important thing on an e-bike is the battery and the motor. Those are the two by far most expensive things to replace if anything goes wrong with them and those two things really determine the functionality, the performance and just the overall, how good the e-bike is. First, let's talk about the motor it's 250 watts, which is not the most powerful in the world

 The only thing you need to put on is the front tire and the handlebars, which is extremely easy to do and will take you probably 15 minutes, tops next thing. The shimano gear system on this bike, or rather the gear system on this bike, is a shimano which is good because shimano make really good gears and hubs and shifters now, it's obviously not their highest end shimano gear set, but it's a pretty dang good one. Nonetheless, and for the purposes of this bike, which is not made for off-road use, it will handle anything you're going to throw at it 100 percent. As far as the brakes go, it does have v brakes on the front and rear you're, not getting um disc brakes with this bike, however, for city riding disc brakes just weigh more they're a more complicated system and they're more expensive to put on the bike

 So you really don't need them to be honest with you, these this bike does stop very quickly and since disc brakes really don't make a big difference unless you were to get hydraulic disc brakes, most bikes that come with disc brakes will have mechanical disc brakes, and It really doesn't stop much quicker mechanical disc brakes versus a standard v brake. It'S only when you get into hydraulic disc brakes that you really notice a difference and there's no way you're going to get a bike at this price with hydraulic disc brakes on it. But, like i said for city riding street riding, this thing stops exceptionally fast. You wouldn't need anything more than it

 I guess you're not getting a lot of extras here for 599 bucks, [, Music ]. On the electrical side, the bike is rocking a 250 watt rear hub motor.
