 Every single week I recently hiked 210 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail before coming home due to Cove at 19, but just before I got out on trial, I went to the REI store in San Diego and I picked up a pair of the Patagonia Strider hiking Shorts, they cost me $ 69, which is about 55 quid, so they're, not the cheapest shorts on the market. But in this video, I'm explaining to you why you're gon na love them a lot. Agana Striders weigh in at just 107 grams, which is really like they're made out of a fast-drying stretch: ripstop polyester fabric they're coated in a DWR water, repellent finish and they're 100 % polyester, which 42 % of is recycled. I'm giving this a no in the recommendation for that reason, but if you're ok or are willing to risk it to see if yours lasts longer, then that would change my recommendation to a yes

 They're fairly lightweight which is nice. The side pockets can fit a gel each (you can squeeze two in there depending on the size of the gel, but you feel it), and the back pocket fit my keys and held them in place.

The Strider Pro Pants are made for efficient running and don’t have any frills or extra pockets. There is a stash pocket that actually doubles as a phone pocket, in a pinch. Certainly, the back hip placement of the pocket was intentional because my iPhone SE slips in there and stays in place and comfortable while running. Of course, you can stuff the pants into the pocket for storage

 The other things I like is they: have these nice little breathe both sides nice little cuts, you get much fun. Ventilation on your legs hang low. The main fabric from these is a 100 % recycled, polyester the pockets at 89 percent recycled polyester, but they also have some elastin in there too, to given up a nice stretch be in Patagonia. They are sewn in a Fairtrade factory, they're about as ethical as you can get for notebook

Superb running shorts! I am an avid runner and bought these specifically for ultramarathons- I've previously been running in nike running shorts and been very happy for years. Read a review of these online and decided to try them- all I can say is "wow", they did not disappoint!! Excellent construction, plenty of room in them for extra gels or keys- and they are lightweight and dry quickly (much quicker than other shorts). Great design, with double-pockets on the sides with secure elastic bands holding them close.  Perfect for a long run or a race or a trail run, when you need a fair amount of gels, lip balm, map, etc., and you need to get at it without difficulty.
