On the first few wearings, there was noticeable heel lift. This has diminished somewhat as the shoes have broken in - perhaps because the sole has softened up and perhaps because the shoe is molding to my foot. But it remains true that the heel fit of the Juxt does not seem as.

I don’t have high hopes for them in the rain unless I spray them with waterproofing spray. I have goretex sneakers from another brand (not hiking ones) and I think I will stick to them on wetter days, as they have been performing great even on super rainy days in New York.

The only thing that I can think of improvement wise it's if they were waterproof. Until then there is always silicone waterproofing spray and wool socks.

I've been wearing these pretty consistently the past week and a half, and I think these would be a slam dunk if I had the perfect size. I usually am a 7.5 in women's sizes, but felt that these run a little big. I would probably wear a 7 in these and it would solve most of the problems I have with the fit

Kind of odd since there are so many reviews that state they fit "true to size". My foot shape isn't odd so I rarely have problems fitting that size. I'm a bit peeved though that I have to pay return shipping. Also, the option of selecting "replace" for a larger size wasn't even an option with the Seller (Rogan's Shoes out of Wisconsin)

Fit and design - one huge flaw for me, and why I will not be continuing to use these - is the lack of a 2nd eyelet at the top of the lacing. This makes it impossible to tighten down for any heel lift. As someone with slender feet, these shoes did not hold up backpacking (carried about 25#) as my heel kept moving around inside the shoe and I got a terrible blister on the inside heel.
