Functionality

A Great Mouse With Some Design Flaws

How exactly? Well before I list the features that I found missing, these are features that won’t be a big deal to a lot of people as there are other ways of completing these tasks but for the price of this mouse it would have been nice to see the functionality be packed in. Anyway, the two biggest features I noticed personally that were missing on the Magic Mouse are firstly, there’s no way to rotate photos or objects. This is something that can only be done on the track pad and secondly, whenever editing video on programs like iMovie, which again, not everyone will do, there’s no way to zoom in or out of the timeline you’re working in. This can, again, only done using a track pad or option within iMovie

Works Flawlessly

Firstly, I'm loving that this mouse is wireless! Put a AA battery in it and it's working!

Apple's Magic Mouse May See Redesign or New MagSafe Charging Capabilities

Magic Mouse is by far the worst Apple accessory. The sensor is trash, the port location is bad, the entire ergonomy of the mouse is non-existent. It absolutely needs a redesign.

G305 Superlight When?

The G203 just anatomically makes zero sense to me, whereas I'm really digging the Orochi V2. If anything, I'd rather they make a new small/med shape. This seems to be something Razer understands better than Logitech.

Shape

A Good Example of Form Over Function

Too much form over function to me. I would take a corded mouse over this one if I had to. Unless you prefer mice like the Apple Magic Mouse as opposed to a traditional style mouse with scroll wheels and a mouse like shape, I'd recommend trying out other mice first before paying for this one. Chances are you'll find something that's more comfortable and less frustrating to use for less money

3. The laser position is almost perfectly centered. This may make it a better ambi design, but for a right-hander, having the sensor ever so slightly to the outside right of the mouse body gives more ergonomic/precise control due to the biological shape of a hand. 4

Grip

I’m so disappointed with the Magic Mouse and I can’t believe it’s still in production. It’s extremely flat, awkward, and it’s non-ergonomic shape does not sit nicely in ones hand- at least not in mine. I feel my hand cramping after five minutes of using one because it forces my hand into such an unnatural position. Apple would make a killing on a really quality mouse that’s either wired or wireless or both

The shape of this mouse is perfect for small to lower end medium hands, I can claw, finger, and palm without any discomfort. It looks kinda like an egg shape from the top, but it has a really deep ergonomic comfort indent under the side buttons giving you a really secure grip, I feel confident with it, granted I felt confident with my Model O-, but this shape and size suits me much more. The mouse is also balanced when it comes to wobble, as in there is no wobble. Every mouse i've used prior to this, even if minimal, has had some wobble

Battery Life

Not Apple's best product, but gets the job done

Not for Everyone. Great for Finger Tip Grip

If you focus on the top end of left and right buttons, can feel a bit spongy --Battery: To reach 920hr max you need to use lithium (vs Alkaline) AA battery while using Bluetooth (vs USB dongle) Half battery life for each of the following: Alkaline, AAA battery, and USB dongle. So, if you use all 3 you’re looking at roughly 115hours Alkaline is more common and cheaper than Lithium even if when you buy multiple alkaline. Bluetooth is not good for gaming especially if you play competitive and/or a game with fast reactionary time as you can get spin outs and delayed inputs. Make sure you put the USB dongle in the USB3

Weight

My only complaint about this mouse is the weight. It’s rather heavy for a mouse hence the 4 stars.

Lighter than logitech g305 and feedback is more sticky

I personally like the logitech g305 better. This mouse is lighter and the clicky feedback is more sticky compared with the logitech g305.
