RAM could do the job, but it feels that the processor is slightly outdated. Last year got some work improvement I got this ipad 8 (2020) with apple pen and keyboard (also from aliexpress), that is good, but, yet nothing that I could enjoy typing.

100 days into ownership and the battery simply will not charge above 80% and it drains too fast...

 It is capable of editing both photos and videos. I've tested both, so I know it can do them, but it wouldn't really be the option that I would pick because I prefer to do those things on my main workstation. The iPad is Apple's entry-level model, so it isn't designed to compete with the higher-end models in terms of features, but it's a super interesting option when you look at value. I chose to go with the 128 gig model because I knew that I'd be installing a bunch of larger games

 But Realistically,, for the most part,, I'm sitting right in front of my iPad, so it's not really a major advantage. When It comes to the rear facing camera, I pretty much never use it on any tablet that I own other than to maybe scan documents. Now, I Tested this one and it's fine, but I think most people are gonna have better cameras on their mobile phone, and they're unlikely to get a ton of use out of this one.

 So for your basic display needs, there's not a whole lot here you could critique. In the Ipad 8th generation, It's got your basics and it's Retina, So if you're just a basic ipad user, the retina quality is probably what you're going to notice most. But one thing we do have to touch on here because it's part of the device are the cameras. What are those cameras looking like on the Ipad 8

 Obviously, you are missing some features that you're going to get in the higher end ipads features that I miss the most namely tap to wake a Usb-c connection and face Id, but with the touch Id, home button, that lighting port, and overall just a pretty good form factor. A nice size ipad that feels good, looks good, just works well. It's got its limitations, but limitations that are understandable based on what Apple's trying to do here with just the basic ipad. But but do yourself a favor

 In fact, it's probably more like an iphone 5 camera. This thing's camera in this day and age really isn't that good. The megapixel count is very low. You don't really have any awesome features

 So I just want to say if you're planning on using an ipad, I don't think you're getting an ipad because of the camera. But I especially don't think you should be using this type of camera. If you have anything like an iphone 6s or newer with this ipad, you have an 8 megapixel lens on the back, you have a 1.2 megapixel lens on the front, so you can do 1080p videos on the back, which is nice

 no 4k on the front or the back, more so the back. That's kind of the more crazy one. So like I mentioned, the iphone 6s camera is a much better camera than this thing that's a 12 megapixel lens on the back. I think you have like a 5 megapixel lens on the front or something, but you have the ability of shooting 4k videos on the back of that phone which is really really impressive

 Well, I mean, Ipad Os has been really, really good. I would say in the last couple generations of sustaining the battery life, it still hasn't been perfect, but it has been getting better over time. So what I do think is like with something with Ipad Os 15 and going in the future Ipad Os 16, I'm hoping the battery life stays the same. Maybe it'll get better, but if that isn't the case, the battery size of this thing alone is still pretty big, so I think that's still an advantage here for sure

 I have my hand entirely on the screen here without any issues at all. Again here, writing is just smooth. It glides across the screen. It works great

 There is also a pretty decent amount of weight to this tablet, which I wasn't expecting either for maybe because it has Lite in its name, but this is actually a pretty sturdy and solid feeling tablet here. We do have those AKG speakers on here, which is great to see, although it is a dual speaker setup, opposed to a quad speaker setup, but I think having those dual speakers will be sufficient. We'll check out the audio quality here in a bit. On the top here, we have our mic and a headphone jack, nothing on the left side of the device

Now, this is Samsung's latest tablet that was just released about a week ago, and its main selling point is the price, coming in at just $350. And this is significantly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, which comes in at $650. We have a very similar screen size at 10

But for regular users? Take this money and spend it on the lowest-priced iPad, and take advantage of what the iPad OS and its ecosystem offer, which will—for most users—be far more appropriate.

But for everyone else, it's hard to say that iPad OS isn't a far better tablet environment at this point. As a user, I seriously prefer Android vs. iPad OS by far, as least as far as the UI and user experience of the OS goes. But also as a user, there's no denying that while an iPad edges ever closer to a legitimate laptop replacement (albeit with restrictions I struggle to live with—hence buying this), an Android tablet is still just a giant Android phone—with mostly phone-like apps, and far fewer of them, than iPad OS with its increasingly serious productivity ecosystem

I'll preface this review by saying: (1) I strongly prefer Android to iOS as an environment (2) This review may not be entirely "fair" to Samsung, but it's fair to users/would-be buyers I own an iPad Pro already, but there are some significant things that I wanted from this tablet: - Something more "holdable" with a large screen, which you can't get with Apple's 4:3 screen shape - The ability to access and cary files from my "main" computer far more easily than is possible with iOS - The ability to run Termux for Linux access - The ability to use a mouse with my tablet at times on the go, with a *pointer* All of those things meant that I needed an Android tablet. In the past I'd have gone with Huawei but now they're not a good bet due to all the geopolitical intrigue and software limitations. I didn't pick up the Tab A because it doesn't have a light sensor (no screen auto-brightness) or a full S6 because the price was just too high. So the S6 Lite seemed like the right bet

As the name suggests, it's a less powerful version of the previously released Galaxy Tab S6, and indeed, this tablet here costs $350, and the styler you see is included.  In terms of sharpness, the resolution is… sufficient, but the software sometimes has some trouble with scaling for the weird aspect ratio, and small images or letters may appear jagged, especially in third-party apps. Samsung fans will also be disappointed to know that this is an LCD panel instead of one of those newer AMOLED panels that have more vibrant colors. Still, it's a good-looking LCD screen. Colors are well-balanced, and it can get bright enough for most situations

 There's also no access to Samsung DeX, which is a shame, so you cannot turn this into a makeshift desktop machine. The battery life of the Galaxy S6 is excellent. We got between 8 hours and 10 hours on our different battery tests. The real-life use is an endurance gem

 The Tab S6 Lite has the benefit of being more portable than the base iPad, so it's the better choice if you want that small form factor. It also comes with its own excellent stylus in the box, so that's a cover with one payment of $350. And the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with 64GB of internal storage, which you can further expand with a microSD card. In contrast, the $330 iPad has just half of that, 32GB of memory
