Battery Life

I really wanted to love these...

You can still hear some loud noises, but those are muted significantly. As for Transparency mode, it amplifies outside noise so you can be aware of your surroundings while listening to music. This was quite helpful while I was walking on the street and did not want to be completely isolated from the outside world. Battery Life SPTA1: 5 hours of playtime and 30 hours with case. SL88: 5 hours and up to 25 hours with case. SPTA2: 5 hours and up to 25 hours with case. All of them delivered on their estimates of 5 hours however, I do have a very frustrating problem with the SL88

The cons: Now I mentioned that the battery life of the buds were fine, but the case is another story, from what have experienced I get mostly 2 recharges from the case. The buds have great sound, but very weak base so if you like music like EDM, funk, hip hop then these won't work well for you. They tend to pop out your ear very easil. I use these at work and when moving these tend to want to escape your ear

Fit

Good sound, poor fit.

The sound quality is good, The in ear fit is not good, I tried all 3 sizes of the supplied silicone ear tips and none fit properly. I tried the proper fit app on my iPhone and could not get an "Okay" on the app. I don't feel they fit securely enough, so I will only use them when I am seated. The Air Pods are not comfortable for any lengthy listening session

They cut out every 5 minutes

The sound quality is good but the constant disconnection after every little pause prevent me from recommending these earbuds. And while these are cheaper alternatives to apple's airpods, their form factor leaves much to be desired as daily use causes cartilage bruising and even bleeding.
