I really wanted to love these...

You can still hear some loud noises, but those are muted significantly. As for Transparency mode, it amplifies outside noise so you can be aware of your surroundings while listening to music. This was quite helpful while I was walking on the street and did not want to be completely isolated from the outside world. Great buy if you like the “sit on the outer ear” design

0, as the connection with my MacBook that only supports BT 4.2 is not that great, with some sporadic drops of the left channel. If you use them with a modern phone you shouldn’t expect any problem. The battery life is very good, I’ve never run out of battery on the earbuds themselves and they charge very quickly when put back on the case

Good sound, poor fit.

The sound quality is good, The in ear fit is not good, I tried all 3 sizes of the supplied silicone ear tips and none fit properly. I tried the proper fit app on my iPhone and could not get an "Okay" on the app. I don't feel they fit securely enough, so I will only use them when I am seated. The Air Pods are not comfortable for any lengthy listening session

- No extra ear "tips" to choose from- either these fit you or they don't. On me, they're slightly loose- I haven't had any problems with them falling out of my ears, but they don't feel as secure as models with different size tips usually do. - The earbuds are activated when the case is opened, rather than when they are removed from the case like other models. This means that if you have them in the case and the case is in your pocket/backpack/etc, something can easily bump the case lid enough that the earbuds are activated
