I really wanted to love these...

You can still hear some loud noises, but those are muted significantly. As for Transparency mode, it amplifies outside noise so you can be aware of your surroundings while listening to music. This was quite helpful while I was walking on the street and did not want to be completely isolated from the outside world. There’s some serious boosting happening, for sure, but it’s in the name of giving the drums a robust, round sound. Things never veer into unnaturally thunderous territory. If you’re using them with Apple products, it’s basically a no-brainer buy for the AirPods Pro. The ecosystem integration is absolutely awesome. The noise cancelling is fantastic, and transparency mode is super useful if you need to quickly hear voices or wear them while outside for awareness.

Decent performance

Love them, however they don't cancel out noise very well so the volume has to be turned up all the way to cover the outside noise. I do love them though, the way the fit and they're perfectly portable! They hold a charge really well. Overall, I like them for my kids but not so much for me. I'd still recommend :)

Fit

Good sound, poor fit.

The sound quality is good, The in ear fit is not good, I tried all 3 sizes of the supplied silicone ear tips and none fit properly. I tried the proper fit app on my iPhone and could not get an "Okay" on the app. I don't feel they fit securely enough, so I will only use them when I am seated. The Air Pods are not comfortable for any lengthy listening session

Normally I'd just use my iPhone 3.5mm adapter and some wired earbuds, but using that on the go (especially with a mask and glasses) has been a mess and I feel True Wireless would suit me better while out in town. Past gear experience: Skullcandy Dime 2, Jabra Elite 3. I tried a set of Jabra Elite 3's, but they have an obnoxious amount of hiss and an uncomfortable fit (they're big enough to press against parts of my ears and the weird angle their tips have jab into my ear canals

These are a really good option if you are looking for wireless Bluetooth headphones. The sound is really great! For me they were easy to connect to my phone and the range on them is good, I was able to walk to multiple rooms through out the house without having my phone on me. The charge life is decent, I don't use them all day so I can go two to three days without charging. For me the only down side is my ears are on the small side and even with the smaller ear piece they don't fit that great

Great airpod investment

So I decided to purchase the pros since they won’t slip as easily as the original AirPods (Let me start by saying they came pretty fast, and they were packaged safely!) I’d say this is a great investment, it’s very comfortable and from what I’ve gathered so far on these is you can answer your calls, skip and rewind back with your music as well, it’s very sound proof so if you’re one of those people who do best getting tasks done during work, school, or even at home without noise around you, these are the way to go. I hope this helped someone! :)

Darned decent small earbuds

If you purchase thinking they are going to be some ground-breaking sound performance, you are likely to be quite disappointed. They are inexpensive, lightweight, small, and comfortable so totally worthwhile.

A decent bargain, but only for some purposes.

*They do turn on when you removed them from the case 9/10 times. I have to make sure that they are off if I'm going to put them in my pocket without the case, for them to have any battery life when I want to use them. They get five stars because if you do this, they last as advertised, but this isn't something I'm overwhelmingly impressed with. I'm not going out of my way to say "Yay! You made a product that does what you said! Good job!" They work, with care

I’m sorry. I can’t recommend this product. If Sony US team is reading this review and if Sony Japan is designing all the products, please tell the Japan team that you don’t need to make too many half-baked products. You just need to offer 3 tiers of products (aka “good”, “better” and “best”) and focus on making sure they are the best products at their price points

Easy to pair and good sound and I think good value for the money. The case is hard to open but it does hold a good amount of charge.
