I say go with the AOC **G2590FX** as it's newer than the G2590PX but has the same exact specs. It's a TN panel which usually goes better with fps competitive gamers/games. The last one, the APC 24G2 is really nice and you get better colors with the same refresh rate and resolution but it's sRGB colors are 126% which will give you way too saturated of a look despite being an IPS for better colors than a TN panel. Best bet, AOC G2590FX!

In 2020 as a competitive gamer who plays at 144hz would u guys recommend IPs or tn

 This is a advertised 1 millisecond response time I Didn't really notice any ghosting when I was playing games on this particular monitor. I Will say though, it is missing the motion blur reduction that you do get with some of the more high end high refresh rate monitors and I really don't think that would be a big deal to not have that. but I actually kind of miss it. Having the clarity when stuff is you know, moving quickly is actually pretty nice, especially on a 144 Hertz or even a 240 Hertz panels

 So if you don't have a lot of room back there, you may possibly run into some issues getting the monitors exactly where you want them so that may force you to, uh, sit your or scoot your desk forward a little bit. But other than that, I'd say the dual monitor arm is actually pretty solid. It's got the monitors pretty much where I want them to be I may do some fine tune adjustments a little bit later on, but I think this is basically the look I'm going for So yeah I know some of you guys probably saying what the hell? Jerry 1080p in 2019? Are you crazy? what is wrong with you and yeah man, I know I know, but it's 144 Hertz I needed that high refresh rate coming off of the Ben Q review and honestly, I'm only rocking the Gtx 1070 right now man, so getting like a 1440p high refresh rate panel wouldn't really I wouldn't really be able to do it justice with the hardware that I've got. So really, it was just budget and hardware that it that factored into me getting this panel basically what I talked about in the BenQ review

MY FAVORITE G-SYNC 144HZ GAMING MONITOR UNDER $200 | AOC G2590FX

 Then go to "Set up G-Sync" (make sure to hit apply), and then go to "Change Resolution." My default settings were native 1080p with 60hz. Make sure scroll down to PC after Ultra HD, HD, SD and look for the PC 1080X1920. Click on it and then change your refresh rate to your liking (144hz)

No speakers / Tweek the settings to get the best picture quality possible.

 I'm not even sure how the monitor affects this but it does I've tested it by hooking up another monitor.  PROS -The design looks really good. The ultra thin bezels look very clean and the red bezel on the bottom is nice. -The monitor stand is nice, it has a little bit of an angle adjustment

 It looks great for a TN display, which really surprised me. In fact, it actually looks better in person than what you're seeing on screen. It's often hard to get these displays to match up with what I'm seeing when you're just shooting the screen with a camera, so the contrast is good. The viewing angles aren't spectacular, but better than many TN displays I've looked at and overall I've just been very please with what they've put together here for the price point

 but on the window side, you really want to get this dialed up to the max refresh rate out of the gate. Now there are four inputs. On the back of the monitor. you have two HDMI ports: a DisplayPort and a VGA I Would suggest using DisplayPort especially if you have an Nvidia card because that is what will ensure that you'll get the G-sync to work properly

The good: This is a good monitor at a competitive price point compared to the other brands. The color range is about what you would expect of a TN panel but the viewing angles are surprisingly good. While the color calibration and brightness settings are pretty bad out of the box, the settings allow you dial in how you want things to look. A Decent 1080p 144Hz Monitor for the Price

First of all I knew going into this that this was not an IPS panel so I didn't expect it to look like one. That being said I never owned anything but an ips panel before but upgraded my system so it was pointless to run a 60hz monitor any longer. Did a lot of research and discovered that to get the response times I was looking for for gaming I would have to get a tn panel. So I put in my order and hoped for the best,lol

And my gaming is at a whole new level with the smoothness of Freesync and the 144hz refresh rate it is a pretty good fit for me

 Now let's get back to the monitor now. I Started off by looking at the 4k monitor range because I've been putting out videos in the UHD resolution 300 400 by Tu-160 for about 18 months or so now. Now they are quite expensive, but also there isn't really much. Probably buying one because my back Book Pro which is mid 2014 range

I think my videos on a laptop and yes, it's a match, but that's irrelevant for this video. It could just as well be a laptop running Linux or Windows just imagine it's running whatever operating system makes you feel least agitated because this isn't a video about operating systems. No, it's a video about a monitor now. I Edit on a laptop because I value the portability and the fact I can easily pack it away and it means I can edit videos here or here what's going on and once I finished editing everything together I can bring the laptop in here, record the voiceover using this microphone, and then afterwards clear everything away

Going UltraWide with the LG 21:9 Monitor 29UM68

 Within days I had fallen in love with it. I'm using the DP connection to get 75Hz and an amd gpu to utilize freesync and once I started gaming it all made sense fairly quickly. This thing is dirt cheap and lightning fast, I'm not Chuck Norris on CS:Go I don't need an absurd refresh rate or response time on the bleeding edge of technology, I mostly do research for work, watch youtube and play Warframe. The settings for font clarity and refresh rates really only took 5 minutes to figure out and I was rolling

A plucky underdog monitor for the budget conscience

 Will officially never be going back and you can quote me on that. and I'll probably test out other regular monitors, but this is so much more immersive I Don't care if it's lower response time I don't care if it's lower refresh rate I Don't care if it's lower resolution, just the fact that it's such a wide monitor I Feel like when I'm playing a game whether that be warframe Borderlands GTA I am so much more immersed I Feel like I'm much more part of the game and you know it's It's an amazing thing and 21 by 9 I feel is really the way to go. There's a reason that these monitors are starting to get popular and so I would highly recommend that. If you're trying to decide between like a 1440p 16 by 9 or this guy here or even another 1080p 21 by 9, go with the 1080 21 by night, it's not gonna be as hard to drive so you'll save some money on your GPU and it's an ultra-wide and I again I will never be going back

 It actually has a response time setting on the monitor that does some trickery to basically make the monitor feel like it's responding quicker, but not have ghosting problems and stuff like that. I Usually that setting on medium and it works Excellent. I Do feel that this does respond faster than all the other IPS monitors I've had out there. Whatever LG is doing on the back end there, they're doing a really great job of that

 It's just LG and I think every review where everybody has been trying to tell you guys this, please just make the monitor out of matte materials. it's not it's it's not that hard. you will please everybody and Matt looks better in a lot of people's opinions too. So anyway, that's for the build quality for the design though

 I Actually do think it's a very pretty monitor with the basically bezel is design here. Now of course you've still got the black space up on the Matt glass here. or it's not glass tea. you know what? I mean the matte panel
