I have been thrilled since it showed up on my doorstep! 1080 is good enough for now, but on a side note I would try the 1440 next without any reservations. The refresh rate is a perfect match for my 580 GPU. The screen is bright enough to not worry about the windows being open nearby, and the response time has improved my fps game

Linus Tech Tips did a review on this exact monitor on YouTube, which encouraged me to buy it. His complaints on the monitor are very minor, but he stated that at this price point it's easily forgivable. The response time feels instantaneous and it is a true 144 hz (***MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO DISPLAY SETTINGS AND CHANGE IT TO 144 hz AS WINDOWS DEFAULTS IT TO 60 hz***).  There are picture settings programmed into the monitor that make it easier to stare at during long gaming sessions

 That's a very good thing because a lot of monitors I've tested only have like one HDMI and that's it and that's not a very good thing, but this one has two HDMI ports as one VGA has one audio jack as well and eight DisplayPort which is very nice. The looks are flashy and that's of course your personal taste if you like that. To be honest, I'm not going to go into the Gammas or the Srgb gambits and all that because I don't even understand that myself. But let's say the monitor looks a bit pixelated when you look very close

It's very good for 1080p quality and that's maybe also who think I want to talk about if you buy a new monitor right now and it's only 1080p, well then you're maybe a bit on the far side because everything is 4k right now, but a it's it's $300 so so we really can't have everything Of course for that price and then I'll do a few negative things.  Well, I couldn't have put it any better. We're looking at a 240Hz IPS display with a 1440p resolution.

 This were extremely impressive specs back when Trout got his sample, but even a few months later, there are only a handful of monitors that can keep up with that.

 Now, it's not surprising that a monitor like this doesn't come cheap.

 At the time of making this video, it costs around $800 US, which of course might change in the future or depending on your region.

 By all means, this is not a monitor you'd want to carry to events or take to your friends.

 Also, its stand is pretty large and takes up a good amount of space on your desk.

 However, this big and heavy stand allows the display itself to almost overhang towards the front.

 Despite the large footprint, this allows us to get the screen pretty close without the stand getting in the way of the mouse or keyboard.

 When I first saw the big stand, I thought getting good ergonomics would be a nightmare, but actually the opposite is true as long as your desk is deep enough.

 In terms of adjustability, it leaves nothing to be desired.

 Height can be adjusted from extremely low to very high and tilt also provides a ton of adjustment range.

 The display can also be swiveled or rotated into portrait orientation for things like coding or reading documents.

 My only gripe is that there's no marking for the center position.

 The pivot adjustment feels a bit mushy, so getting it back to a horizontal position takes some effort.

 Yes, I'm totally nitpicking here, but let's not forget that this is a pretty expensive monitor.

 Therefore, I'm also a bit disappointed that it doesn't have integrated speakers.

 At least it has a headphone jack that's conveniently placed and not hidden on the backside of the monitor.
