The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro is not everything you ever wanted. The main concern is battery life and device switching/connecting. Hopefully this can be sorted out over time. I should have gone with the AirPods Pro which has about the same battery life but better device switching or the Sony WF1000XM4

 And five months later, I have been using them on and off and I also left it on my night stand to listen to music at night. So I'm here to share with you what I think about these earbuds today, after using it for a couple of months. So the Liberty 3 Pro still comes in at around US$170 and prices for its competition such as the Bose QC earbuds, the Sony WF-1000XM4 and the AirPods Pro are still pretty much the same. So in terms of value for money, I would say the Liberty 3 Pro is still a very attractive price earbuds, especially for all the features, sound quality and ANC performance

 So bass here is still really powerful and clean, giving you a very solid, powerful thumb through each beat. And after listening to it for a while, you start to be able to tell the drivers apart because the dynamic driver just pumps out insane amount of power and bass, but at the same time, the mids and highs are still crisp and clear. It's like the two frequencies just don't mind each other and play really well together and that's where this Knowles BA driver really shines. However, with my own EQ tuning, I do notice that some songs will actually get a little ear piercing with higher volumes because I mainly like to tune my earbuds to be a little bit brighter

 So some songs really does get pushed quite high and gets a little ear piercing, but with that happening, I'll just lower down the volume. So overall, I'm still very impressed with the sound quality here with the Liberty 3 Pro. So will I still be buying these earbuds in 2022 and if I am in the market looking for a high performing earbuds below the $200 range, I would definitely say yes. But if you can afford the other earbuds like the Sony or Bose, of course they all have their own advantages and their own app layer which is fantastic

 So the Liberty 3 Pro still comes in at around US$170 and prices for its competition such as the Bose QC earbuds, the Sony WF-1000XM4 and the AirPods Pro are still pretty much the same.  Let's talk about the soundcore companion app Because in my opinion soundcore has one of the best apps out there It gives you a ton of customization options and it really just unlocks the potential of the earbuds It gives you custom eq controls. So it gives you a list of eq presets Um, if those aren't enough you can create your own custom eq profile Like I said, you're able to customize the controls you can assign individual functions to the left and the right earbud So you can have a different list of controls on the left earbud And a different list of controls on the right earbud and you just have a ton of customization options within the app Like I said by far one of the best apps out there And again, I already touched on it a little bit the call quality if you haven't seen any of my other videos concerning these earbuds Go back and watch them. I will put the links down in the description and listen to the microphone test You will be amazed at how much background noise these are able to cancel out So if you take a lot of phone calls, especially in noisy environments Whether you're working from home or just outside and there's a lot of traffic if you live in the city Any environment these are going to cancel out Some if not the most background noise possible whenever you're on the phone and that's probably one of my Favorite features about these earbuds anytime anybody comes to me and asks about call quality I always recommend the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro.  I need to be able to connect to my phone As well as my laptop at the same time and be able to switch between the two seamlessly Well, that would narrow the list down even more and then if you said all right and on top of all that I need them at the best possible price All right So after all that the only earbuds that would be left standing for me are the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro And that's even before we get into other features. I haven't even mentioned like wireless charging and LDAC compatibility Which is a high resolution streaming codec and I know you're probably thinking after all this time There's nothing negative that you have to say about these earbuds The only negative thing that I can think of and I don't even consider it to be a negative against the earbuds The only thing that I've experienced is that when you're using the LDAC codec, which again is that high resolution streaming codec It does interfere with the bluetooth connection Um, so there are times if i'm using the LDAC codec the connection will drop out occasionally Um, but I mean to be fair it even tells you within the app if you use the LDAC codec It's not going to give you the best bluetooth connection So and that's not even specific to these earbuds any earbuds that you use that have LDAC available You're going to run the risk of having a spotty bluetooth connection as far as sound quality These definitely have you covered if you're a fan of bass, you can really get some strong bass out of these Give you that subwoofer type feel and then you have the customizable eq within the soundcore app Which really just gives you total control over the sound of the earbuds So considering everybody likes a little bit different type of sound That eq is very vital because you can really tweak it to whatever you like and these have some incredible range Uh, so like I said, you can get some strong bass if you want to scale it back You can scale it back focus more so on the mids and highs and the clarity These are really capable of whatever you want in terms of sound now. Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro | 6 Months Later...

 Then I returned them both and bought a brand new pair, and THAT one had the same issue. Anker has constantly impressed me with their products, and this issue is really annoying, but it won't stop me from buying their products in the future. I'm just really bummed that I have to play with these earbuds as often as I do to get them to charge. The battery life is also kinda low, but I'm also using a lot of features, such as ANC on max, and the multipoint connection, so I guess I can't be all that upset by it

  The good news is that the ANC is awesome, the sound quality is awesome too, especially on the LDAC codec, and they're super comfortable. I bought some Comply foam eartips for them, because they were a massive upgrade in some other buds I've owned in the past, and if they're any better than the silicone eartips that come with the Liberty 3 Pros, I can't tell, so I stopped using them and went back to the stock ones.  All in all, these are quite nice, if you don't mind jiggling the earbuds to get them to connect properly, but I do mind that. Especially after it happened on three pairs in one month

Doesn't connect to charging case consistently.

 Now, let's get one thing out of the way. Soundcore sent the Liberty 3 Pro to me free of charge for testing and review purposes. But as my longtime viewers know, this doesn't affect my reviews in any way. So let's get on with it

Game CHANGER! 🤯 Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro

 However, I don't use LDAC mode and still have these issues and have seen other people with the same complaint. Also, the earbuds don't always connect properly when taking them out of the case. Sometimes one bud won't connect and I have to put them back in the case and pull them back out. Furthermore, when putting the buds in the case to charge/turn them off, it does not always work

I've had these earbuds for five or six months and there have been a few ups and downs. Overall, these are good. The sound quality if phenomenal and hard to beat. Not just for the price, but period

 For a while I did not realize this was happening so I would have times where I would miss texts/calls because my phone wouldn't ring out loud because it's still connected to the earbud. Also, depending on the length between usage, I would go to put the buds in for a workout or something and they battery would be completely drained. Now that I'm aware of this issue, I pay closer attention to this and at least half of the time I have to fiddle with the earbud until it registers that it's in the case. Also, I've gone back and forth a bit with Soundcore on these issues and I'm on my 3rd pair and the problems still persist

 However, the connectivity issues makes it hard for me to do it. If you think you're fine with the connectivity issues, then by all means, check them out. I've mostly been able to make due with the jank because I love the audio quality so much, but it can get pretty annoying. I've had much cheaper earbuds that don't have those issues

Mixed feelings, I somewhat recommend

 I've dropped them on the bus outside on concrete and they're perfectly fine. There's no nicks or scratches on the body of the actual earbud and the glossy finish is still as glossy as ever. So I'd be able to say you're not going to experience any kind of fading or any kind of damage from your day-to-day use. The case is one of my favorites

 And the sound is also very high res, the quality is very high. It sounds good, I like the way they sound. Obviously just me holding it like this is actually playing and pausing this. So what I'm going to do now is we're going to go ahead and we're going to go ahead and dunk one of these into the water

 From that unboxing experience to the crazy build quality and all the features they packed into these we're going to talk about later, plus all the advertising they're doing. It's really obvious that Soundcore is trying to set themselves apart with this flagship. So how well do they actually perform? Let's start with the fit. SOUNDCORE LIBERTY 3 PRO: LONG TERM REVIEW!

Evaluating vs Sony XM4 buds: these k(Liberty 3) are more comfortable in my ears, stay put much better (they have wingtips), and important for wireless, they have great customizable controls. Sony falls far short in the controls and you are forced to choose 2 or of 3 functions (volume, play/pause/skip, or transparency/ANC). Usually with my phone in a pocket, bag or the next room, I want all three of these functions at ones. Liberty 3 and Samsung earbuds allow this

 Sony uses foam tips which give good passive noise isolation, so maybe Liberty 3 would be better with foam tips.  Form: both brands are good, I find the liberty case is flatter, and fits into pockets better, but Sony's fit into pockets just fine.  Ultimately I am going to return the Sonys because although I like their sound better, they move around in my ear (not falling out, but getting loose), which makes the proximity sensor trip, and then the buds pause of turn off. This happens even while seated on Zoom calls, which makes them unusable for giving presentations

 Usually with my phone in a pocket, bag or the next room, I want all three of these functions at ones. Liberty 3 and Samsung earbuds allow this. Sony does not.  Sound is quite good on the Liberty 3 for casual listening (ie at work, or while doing an activity)
