 To know how much charge you have left, check the LED lights on the side. As the charger runs out of power, the lights turn off. The media could not be loaded. Most hilariously broken product I've ever have had. Usually a product can disappoint u by not working as expected, or as described. This one directly put my safety at risk, thanks to this Anker super dude, we had smoke all over the charging spot and incredibly dangerous fire hazard, and at some point I would never have imagined what to do if I hadn't had it cut off from the plug

Usually a product can disappoint u by not working as expected

 Typically if I use mine once, I charge it at first chance. Nothing worse than having a battery but not having it have enough to power you again while you're out. It's a good habit to get into for these smaller batteries.

Solid little charger backed by real service if you ever need it.

 The PowerCore 5000 has a 5000 mAh battery, is a little taller and is a cylinder shape. The Flip 20 has a 5200 mAh battery, is shorter and rectangular in shape. Over all this is a great charger and look forward to using it all the time especially on weekend trips. I like the 2A max output over the 1A on the astro mini

I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, and I promised that my review is fair and honest. When I first took the PowerCore 5000 out its box I could feel it's smooth matte black finish in my hands and noticed it's light weight. Looking at it you can see a round button on the side with 3 lights above it that light up white. Those 3 lights indicate the charge level of the PowerCore

Defective? Can't charge an iPhone

Good for Travel

This was a great purchase. It's a bit bulky but I love how versatile it is. I only wish they'd places a car charger on it as well, that would make it the whole package! But we've used it when traveling, for multiple phones and tablets and it's great to have. Also nice to plug it in and be able to charge it and electronics at the same time
