It lacks USB-C for charging MacBooks and other devices like Anker's PowerCore+, but it's also smaller, lighter, and less expensive. That makes it a solid travel companion if you don't need to power USB-C devices.

I love the shape of the PowerCore mini but my main concern is the capacity especially during long commutes or trips or when I'm playing Pokemon GO to be exact. It’s not ‘heavy’, but it does have a small amount of noticeable weight and it’s not uncomfortable. I can put it in my front jeans pocket and it sticks out slightly. If you were to put it in a backpack you’d probably not notice it that much. It comes with a soft/mesh drawstring carrying case

Been looking for my first powerbank ever! I've heard that Anker is the best brand to buy from so here I am. I'm currently looking for a portable charger for an iPhone XS Max and iPhone 11. I'm in Canada if that matters. I'm just looking for something that lasts long

I just hope I can use a power bank safely without the need to deal with the smoke it emits or put out a fire from time to time.

Bought this when it was released, given the specs being advertised. Unfortunately, it doesn't charge @ 2A or even close to it. It's not an issue with a cable -- I've tested several cables that all charge at around 1A - 2A on another Anker device, as seen in the attached pictures. I've reached out to Anker for assistance and received no help

I used to lug around big chargers but the reality was I never used them to full capacity before I could recharge again. Maybe you will

I'd recommend charging this pack overnight and it'll be ready to roll in the morning. After using this pack for several months, I'd recommend it to anyone without reservation, especially for it's battery strength and size. This is just about as much power as you can take with you in a small package and it hasn't let me down once. I'd buy another one with zero hesitation

even when I'm using the phone at the same time!! This little power tube PUSHES juice into my phone no matter what im doing, which is awesome! To summarize, this backup charger is small, light, doesn't get hot, charges itself fast, and then charges my massive power hungry phablet in unbelieveable speed. This is the one you want, for value, convenience and performance! If the bigger options work better than this, I can't imagine needing that much performance, unless perhaps I was charging a laptop or something huge. This thing is perfect, and for less than twenty bucks?!.

I used this to top it off before using it. I let it charge overnight (about 6 hours) to achieve a full charge before using.

It normally stays in the car or in a bag when its not needed. As to charging time, it charges my LG G4 from 20% to 100% in about an hour. If I’m not using the phone I can get two charges out of it. If I’m using my phone, then I can run the charge out in about 2 hours and get to about 50% charge

Luckily, the sleep mode can be overriden by clicking the indicator button on the powerbank. You can also unplug and replug the USB cable connected to the power bank to turn it on.

Typically if I use mine once, I charge it at first chance. Nothing worse than having a battery but not having it have enough to power you again while you're out. It's a good habit to get into for these smaller batteries.

So, I emailed Anker with the requested purchase information and after an individual named Julia asked me a few questions a new Anker Battery was sent to my house in America and arrived exactly one day before I flew in from the Philippines. I can say that Anker's products are top notch but the real test of a company is do they actually support their warranty . This process was smooth and they even sent follow up emails to make sure that I was happy with my new replacement. I will definitely be buying all my cables, chargers and batteries from Anker in the future

We had this charger for about 8 months of heavy use and the power port that sends power to a device went bad. I submitted a warranty request and they immediately sent a new one and also followed up to make sure all was good. This is what separates companies from their competition these days and is one of the reasons I'll look to them first for this sort of stuff. I think the failure was just a fluke as I have two other chargers one from them (a larger 2 port) that have traveled all over the world with me
