Anker Nebula Capsule II vs ViewSonic M1

2 and it needs to be placed too far in order to get a decent size images. Just to get 60" diagonal image projector needs to be places around 5'-6" distance which, is huge inconvenience for me as It would need to be placed next to me in my bed. The lack of horizontal auto key-stoning make it worse that even a 6" deviation results in skewed image.

I have the viewsonic one. I think it’s a solid monitor, especially at the price it is. I came from 1080p 144hz and the upgrade was quite noticeable. Imo the ips panel is very worth it, it just looks so much better than my old screen

This all sounds dire, but in practice, it’s not — at least not if you have the remote and something good to set the Capsule II down on. You center it on a wall, point it up, hit the button to autofocus, and you’re done. Then it’s time to start playing a movie, and so long as you’ve got some kind of Wi-Fi, that’s as easy as doing it on your TV (minus Netflix and Amazon Prime video). Pro tip: make sure that Google Play movies is hooked up to your Movies Anywhere account so you can access movies that were purchased on Amazon or iTunes

Doesn't work either way. My computer recognizes it as a device but can't project to it. Maybe I am doing something wrong but after several hours of trying different settings it doesn't seem to do the one thing I bought it for. I did contact Viewsonic customer service a week ago but have received ZERO from them

I like it; I just wish it was brighter. It is certainly a well-made projector and has all sorts of inputs. The onboard sound is actually surprisingly crisp and loud, but if you really wanted to upgrade the audio - you still have the capability of upgrading by syncing with your own Bluetooth speaker system. FINALLY got the projector out after getting it as a gift for our wedding last October! We use it for NHL playoffs outside when having a bonfire and overall its not bad!! Except... The battery

The projector has 4 settings for the battery usage. In Full mode, the light is bright but you will only get about 2 hours out of the battery. On Eco mode you can get over 5, but the light looks dim. We have found that Extended Eco gives us about 4 hours of playing time, but the picture still is quite bright

This little projector packs a punch. I bought it as it was the only well-reviewed projector/speaker combo with Prime shipping for a last-minute business meeting that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg when I just need something compact for a small presentation. I wasn't quite certain reading the reviews and descriptions if I would be able to cast my PC to this but with an HDMI chord, I was able to pull up my Presentation, locally saved videos, etc. seamlessly

I purchased a Nebula Capsule 2 and was quite thrilled to receive the unit. I was able to setup the majority of functions and accounts that I had purchased the device for (Plex, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Vudu, Movie Anywhere etc) and appreciated the ability to customize the app icon locations. There was a hardware issue with the remote and after speaking with an engineer at Anker it was decided that the remote would be replaced at no charge. The engineer (Sarah) resoluved the issue to my satisfaction as the replacement remote was sent expeditiously and everything functions as expected now

We’ve considered cheaper gadget projectors, but after some more research we’ve narrowed the selection down to Nebula Capsule and M1. Both Nebula and M1 are based on DLP technology from reputable brands, WVGA (480p) resolution and have stylish form factor but M1 was brighter at 250 ANSI Lumens compared to Nebula @ 100 ANSI Lumens and less $. WiFi would have been nice but it wouldn’t be much use when camping out of range. Overall, resolution and brightness is good enough for watching movies on the go
