2 and it needs to be placed too far in order to get a decent size images. Just to get 60" diagonal image projector needs to be places around 5'-6" distance which, is huge inconvenience for me as It would need to be placed next to me in my bed. The lack of horizontal auto key-stoning make it worse that even a 6" deviation results in skewed image.

This all sounds dire, but in practice, it’s not — at least not if you have the remote and something good to set the Capsule II down on. You center it on a wall, point it up, hit the button to autofocus, and you’re done. Then it’s time to start playing a movie, and so long as you’ve got some kind of Wi-Fi, that’s as easy as doing it on your TV (minus Netflix and Amazon Prime video). Pro tip: make sure that Google Play movies is hooked up to your Movies Anywhere account so you can access movies that were purchased on Amazon or iTunes

If the price doesn’t put you off and you’re also the sort of person who isn’t worried about those video content workarounds (I don’t judge), I think it’s a pretty great little TV in a can. I’m glad I have one. But as I’ve said before: if you have to pile on a bunch of caveats and if-thens before you recommend a product, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.

As for picture quality, don’t expect this to be as good as your TV. You’ll need a dark area, and the larger you make the screen, the darker your room should be. Anker rates it at 200 ANSI lumens, which is to say it’s brighter than many other tiny projectors, but nowhere near as bright as a dedicated projector you plug in. I projected it on lots of different surfaces and as long as the surface was flat, it produced a clean and sharp 720p image

 Then it’s time to start playing a movie, and so long as you’ve got some kind of Wi-Fi, that’s as easy as doing it on your TV (minus Netflix and Amazon Prime video). Pro tip: make sure that Google Play movies is hooked up to your Movies Anywhere account so you can access movies that were purchased on Amazon or iTunes.

 The battery life really can reach just short of three hours in my experience, though you might want to have a charger or backup battery (it charges via USB-C) handy just in case. There is a fan that you can definitely hear inside, but it’s not loud enough to distract from the actual sound of the video you’re watching.

  I also knocked a star off for brightness, I can't be too critical because it is only 200 lumens - but it does have to get pretty dark for it to display it's full potential. Note the picture difference, when it's lighter out, it has to be closer to the screen so it shows up, whereas when it's darker outside, we can back up the projector to take advantage of the bigger picture. Again, not a biggie, but something to keep in mind!  Overall, I love Anker as a brand and am always a fanboy of their products!

FINALLY got the projector out after getting it as a gift for our wedding last October!  We use it for NHL playoffs outside when having a bonfire and overall its not bad!! Except... The battery

. The battery. It advertises up to 2.5 hours in video mode, not sure if that means streaming per say, but we only ended up getting about 1 hour and 40 minutes off a full charge

This little projector packs a punch. I bought it as it was the only well-reviewed projector/speaker combo with Prime shipping for a last-minute business meeting that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg when I just need something compact for a small presentation. I wasn't quite certain reading the reviews and descriptions if I would be able to cast my PC to this but with an HDMI chord, I was able to pull up my Presentation, locally saved videos, etc. seamlessly

Perfect little projector for business and personal use!

I purchased a Nebula Capsule 2 and was quite thrilled to receive the unit. I was able to setup the majority of functions and accounts that I had purchased the device for (Plex, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Vudu, Movie Anywhere etc) and appreciated the ability to customize the app icon locations. There was a hardware issue with the remote and after speaking with an engineer at Anker it was decided that the remote would be replaced at no charge. The engineer (Sarah) resoluved the issue to my satisfaction as the replacement remote was sent expeditiously and everything functions as expected now

I’m considering a GS2 and want to have a little movie night for my next “glamping” trip. 720p should be enough, and projector size needs to be easy to carry and not heavy so it’ll fit in my van. Also, I don’t want to break the bank. 

One thing I’m thinking is the sound as I would like to have a movie night with good audio. Some of my friends told me that I should get a good Bluetooth speaker for portable projectors to compensate for the weak sound. Really don’t want sound to mess up the movie night, so any advice for a good Bluetooth speaker? I am thinking getting a speaker for around 200 bucks. Anyone has a GS2? Many thanks.

The BenQ GS2 comes out of the box looking so well designed that you might be fooled into thinking it's a better projector than it is. The metallic front panel, rubberized beige case with rounded edges, built-in tiltable base, and top-quality fit and finish all proclaim careful craftsmanship. It lives up to that first impression in many ways, but it drops the ball in others, most notably with underpowered audio and limited built-in streaming functionality. Listing for $699 and widely available for $599 or less at this writing, it's well worth a look, especially if you need an outdoor projector that can withstand a bit of drizzle, but be sure to compare it to the directly competitive and Editors' Choice&ndash;winning Anker Nebula Mars II Pro

The BenQ GS2 combines thoughtful design with solid craftsmanship, including welcome touches such as the magnetic connector for the power cord and an eye-protection setting that will turn off the light if a curious toddler or pet gets too close to the lens. If you want some assurance that your projector can survive a little unexpected rain or the shock from a short drop, the sturdy GS2 is worth a look. The onboard twin 2W chamber speakers delivered good sound quality in my tests.
