The controls on the amp didn't really help me get a clean sound that I wanted, and overall the basses were sounding just too muddy or losing some part of the sound that I wanted but couldn't get.

Sounds bad, volume is too low for practicing, and is just a waste of space. I suggest practice w/ a full size bass amp at low volume or w/ modelling software on PC. This practice amp is obsolete. You cannot practice w/ the aux input because the backing tracks will just drown out the bass

The lean back cabinet was a nice touch, along with an AUX so he can play along with other music. It's not enough amp to play out with, but sufficient for a small practice room or the garage. Overall build quality, fit, and finish look much better than you would expect out of an amp at this price point. Would definitely recommend this to someone starting out as a first amp, or as a small, portable lightweight practice amp for an experienced player

It has a bit of mud and hollowness that I don't typically like to hear. However, the price is outstanding, and I have no problem at all carrying it around. It's light as a feather. For those 2 reason, I'm happy with it
