3 gigahertz, all core OC 1440p key. The scaling and positioning just with everything slightly lower the r5 3,600 X ends up at 115, 8.6 FPS average, with the 3600 at 114 FPS average. The overclocked is functionally tied with the 3600 X once again moving on to a couple of the production tests, because, frankly, it's it's really not worth showing all of them at all

 If you really want the 3600 X, it's probably because you care enough about that couple percent that you're willing to pay $ 50 for it to get a higher single core boost frequency, because that's what you're getting with it in terms of out of the box back In terms of overclocking, if your intent is to buy a rise in CPU, throw an all core OC on there and never touch it again, it doesn't matter what you buy technically the 3600 and the 3600 X overclocked to the same value will produce the same numbers, But we don't know if the 3600 ax might be bend a little bit better. So maybe there's some silicon lottery gambling in there. If you buy the 3600 and so the 3600 X, we're not sure we don't have a sample size of hundreds to check, but that would be the only real consideration. Is silicon Bening for overclocking quality and with these chips, when you're fighting between four point, two and four point three: it's sort of stops mattering, especially since the stock 3600 axis and outperform and all core ocf four point: three in cases where a single single core dual Thread scenarios would matter so that'll be the review of short version not worth it

 The 3600 acts at 117 FPS average lowers within reasonable run to run variants of the others. This results positions the r5 3600 as 1.7 percent. The head of the 3600 stock CPU are particularly impressive and tied with the r5 3600 4

On this test, the Core i7-8700K demonstrates a clear advantage.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Review

 I'm afraid to run FurMark, because it recently fried one of my cards, so you'll have to excuse me for not using it. Regardless, I think these numbers are not too bad, considering that we only have two small rads and the tiny fans that are running at only up to around 50 percent speed at these temps and aren't that loud, leaving a bit more headroom for cooling if I ever want to blast the fans at 100%.

At first, I just thought of updating both AIOs, since the case I bought now could fit (or more accurately cram after a few small dremel cuts) two 80mm radiators with fans up top, so I tried that first. Unfortunately, not much changed. The GPU would still shoot up to about 89 degrees almost immediately under load and heavily thermal throttle while the CPU would also reach the high 90s in Prime95, not too great. At this point, I decided to go all in with the full custom loop

[Running both Heaven and Prime95. Not too bad considering the surface area available and tiny fans]([URL REMOVED] a side note, I also managed to answer a question I had prior to all this; is it better running two separate AIOs with individual rads, or having a single loop including CPU and GPU water block, same two rads, but joined and cooling all the components simultaneously? I believe the answer is clear.

 It wasn't easy. but was one of the most fun experiences I ever had building a system. It was also my first experience with building a full custom loop, so any future water cooling projects in a mid tower case should be a breeze.

 Since I am new to learning about PC's, I was wondering if this build would be good for gaming and recording/streaming. Hopefully everything is compatible with each other, if anyone could reassure that then thank you!

 Just yet, second is that AMD sweeten the upgrade path by allowing send to processors to work with previous rise in chipsets, so anything from the be 350 to the new x5 70 motherboards will work just make sure also to check the motherboard manufacturers support pages. For your specific motherboard, because there are a handful of B 350 and X, 370 motherboards that are not going to be compatible with Zen 2, but the ones that are will only need a BIOS update for benchmarking. We tested all the CPUs using 1080p and the ultra wide 34 40 by 1440 monitors and because we don't have a regular 1440p monitor on hand, we chose not to run anything other than a native resolutions because it just doesn't reflect the game performance properly. So all the rise in benchmarks were done on the be 350 motherboard with MSI is updated BIOS just for you guys that are also on that upgrade path and all of our system, specs will be listed in the description down below

 The 3600 X versus the 1600 X and then just for fun, we're gon na throw it all up against an i7 8700 K just to see how things stack up. Comparing these two generations of Rison cpus, the 3600 x got a small 200 megahertz increase in its core frequency and a much-needed 400 megahertz increase in the turbo frequency, with both the 1600 knicks and the 3600 x AMD kept the same core and thread count, but the Most notable difference are in the lithography and the cash now AMD stepped up the game and doubled the cache size and cut the FinFET spacing in half, while keeping a 95 watt TDP. Now, although I am skeptical on how AMD kept the same, TDP so low, while cutting the FinFET spacing in half, only testing will really confirm whether or not the temps are roughly about the same now, looking at the 3600 X and the 8700 K, you will see That the core frequencies are roughly about the same but like always, Intel wins on the higher turbo frequency and the cores new threads are all the same and 8700 K has a sizable difference in the cache which I'm interested to see exactly how it affects performance. Two things to mention about the 3600 X is first AMD decided to include the Wraiths power cooler, which may be useful for some that don't want to throw down the cash for a custom cooler

 So, if you're using this cooler on 3600 X, your temperatures are gon na, be a little bit hotter than if you had an older rice and chip. But to me that completely makes sense because they took the FinFETs from 14 nanometers, all the way down to 7 nanometers, so you've got a lot more packed into a much tighter area. So I expect it to be hotter. But if you went ahead and bought yourself a custom cooler and throw it on top of this thing, I think that you'd be a lot happier and that your cooler would be a lot quieter, because, with this AMD cooler running at 3000, rpms at 100 % of Fan speed, it gets pretty loud and even at 50 % of fan speed

 I mean I wouldn't pass this thing up, especially if I was building a system nowadays, but I hope you guys got a little bit more info about me, 3600 X and how well it is actually doing. I'M really impressed with AMD, and I hope that they really do continue on this path, to be a really good competitor against Intel once again. AMD Finally Got It Right! Ryzen 5 3600X Review

 Well there you have it as predicted the Ryzen 5 3600 offers a tremendous amount of value and because it just sips power it'll work on even the most basic B350 motherboard providing it receives the necessary BIOS update. Alternatively for new builders you can grab my favourite B450 board the MSI B450 Tomahawk and you'll have a killer combo for a smidgen over $300 US and that's basically what you'll pay for a 9600K with a mid-range cooler. Then in the future your options are a plenty the Ryzen 7 3700X, the Ryzen 9 3900X or maybe even the 16 core 3950X. Who knows what secondhand deals will be available on these parts in a few years time

 So this means the Ryzen 5 3600 was tested on the same X570 board and it's been configured with the same DDR4 3200 CL14 memory and I used the included box cooler for the review of the CPU as well. Then the 8th and 9th gen Intel Core processors were benchmarked on the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra using the same DDR4 3200 CL14 memory but they were cooled using the Corsair Hydro Series H115i RGB Platinum 280mm all-in-one liquid cooler. Please note the Intel CPUs are not TDP restricted as that's not the out-of-the-box experience so we're showing the absolute best case scenario for out-of-the-box performance with the Intel processors. But please note I'll also be factoring in the cost of an aftermarket cooler for the Intel CPUs in the cost analysis at the end of this video and it works out to be in AMD's favour to use the box cooler as using an aftermarket solution really only boosts gaming performance by 1-2%

 That's pretty insane, in two years AMD has increased performance at the $200 price point by almost 50%. The single core performance is equally impressive, here the 3600 was just 4% slower than the 3700X and that meant it was able to match the Core i5-9600K and just edge out the 8700K. This makes the 3600 better value than the 2600X at its current $195 asking price though it is 18% more costly than the vanilla 2600. Even so given the improvements in efficiency and the absolutely monstrous performance uplift in productivity workloads I feel it's going to be easy for consumers to justify that small price premium

 It matched the Ryzen 7 1800X with just over 3600 points yep, the 3600's scored roughly 3600 points. Amazing but let's move on. This made it 4% faster than the 8700K, almost 20% faster than the 2600X and 28% faster than the model it's replacing the 2600. Then when compared to the R5 1600 the new 3600 is 45% faster

**GPU** As for the GPU, I went with a 3-fan, 2-slot RTX 3060 Ti from EVGA. This case supports even larger 3-slot cards, but I wasn't looking to break the bank on anything fancier than a 3060 Ti. There are 2-fan variants available, but considering I had the space for some extra cooling and I'm hoping this thing runs quietly, I decided to upgrade to a mid-range 3-fan card.
