Friendly Fire: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU Review & Benchmarks vs. 5600X & 5900X
Clearly, the 5950x is the winner: there's nothing even close to it. Really the 1090 dxe isn't close to it. You need to move up the threadripper class parts to outdo the 5950x, but at 800 you're, probably not looking at that part if you're considering the 5800x today

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Review
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X isn't the absolute fastest of what Zen 3 has to offer in content creation. But its balance of price to performance in both gaming and content work is what really sets this specific Zen 3 CPU apart from other new-generation AMD and Intel chips we've tested so far. The CPU is a great pick for anyone who wants a processor that can hold its own in creative tasks like media editing and rendering

Why would you ship a CPU in a bubble envelope with no protection?
Great processor. A huge step up for AMD. This should finally start to scare Intel. Is a hot cpu so make sure you pair it with a quality cooler. For some reason the decided the best way to send a 500 dollar pc part was using a bubble envelope and nothing else. And you can see the result. Hope it work...

What you guys think of the build I want to buy?
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X **go for a 5600X if you are just gaming**. CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 5 Rev. B 51.17 CFM CPU Cooler **is fine though I'd go for Noctua or Arctic cooling instead**.

Great CPU, Slightly Overpriced to it's siblings
Pros - This is a great CPU with Single-core performance that surpasses any intel competitor and multi-core performance that smashes most of the competition. It's incredibly energy efficient for the performance gains and has great thermals. *Upgrading from a I5-2500K, everything I can think of doing ...

Revisiting The Ryzen 7 5800X - Is This 8 Core Zen 3 CPU Now Worth Buying in 2021? 18 Game Benchmark
The 5800x would also be an excellent upgrade for those rocking ryzen, 2000 or 3000 parts, particularly 6 cores or lower you'll. Get a massive uplift in regards to single core performance and multi-core performance amd really has laid out an excellent upgrade path for previous gen ryzen owners.

8 Core King - *EDIT* PBO2
At the time of writing this CPU has only been 'available' for about 2 weeks and I'll admit I got very lucky in getting one on launch day. Most will probably find this hard to find until demand/supply stabilize but if you're fortunate like me here are some things I have found so far: This CPU is a to...
