Cooling

GPU fried on default settings.

I tried turning the computer on but the leds on my cooling fans would flash then turn off. The actual computer would not. I took it in for a diagnostic and the GPU had shorted, and as a failsafe the computer wouldn't turn on to prevent further damage. I had tinkered with the Watt Management settings to run the fans faster at lower temps than the default settings because I explicitly did not want the card to fry

It must be dirt cheap by now, and still offers reasonable power for entry level gaming, while performing excellently in HD video playback applications. Buy it. Or don't. I'm not a cop
