That's an important story in this release: the launch of the Radeon RX 5600 XT has finally forced Nvidia to get competitive with the price of its lowest-end RTX cards. AMD has been trading blows with Nvidia for decades now, and the two are entering all-out grudge match territory with AMD's release of the $279 Radeon RX 5600 XT. Despite our frustrating testing experience, Sapphire's version of the new "Navi"-architecture graphics card exceeded expectations set by the company itself and can punch well above its weight class to compete with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2060, as well as flat-out trouncing cost-comparative entries like the GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660 Super. If you're on the hunt for the ultimate 1080p gaming engine (and one that will still keep 1440p titles churning along nicely), the AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT should be the next purchase on your list and easily earns an Editors' Choice.

The EVGA RTX 2060 KO (a moniker that could be a reference to what Nvidia hopes this new card will do to the RX 5600 XT) will debut at $299 with an immediate $20 rebate, while the overclocked version, the RTX 2060 KO Ultra, will go for slightly more at $319 with a $20 rebate. Nvidia hopes that the GeForce RTX 2060's frame rates will outclass AMD's at the same price-performance ratio, while also including the option to turn on ray tracing in games such as Minecraft or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 does pull ahead in the Time Spy tests, by 8% and 12% in Time Spy and Time Spy Extreme, respectively. But, the fact that these graphics cards are this close in the first place is pretty amazing.&nbsp;

 But, in Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Nvidia's hardware does much better, with the RTX 2060 pulling ahead by 12% at 1080p. But, it's important to note that the GTX 1660 Ti doesn't beat the RX 5600 XT in a single test.&nbsp;

We could probably go on at length about how the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is essentially obsolete at this point and should be ignored, but the fact is that Nvidia is still selling it, even if at its price point it simply doesn't make sense. The AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT shows users what kind of performance they should expect at this price level, and for that we have nothing but props to give Team Red.

So, while Nvidia has absolutely saturated its market with four graphics cards targeting the same resolution, AMD has done the same with just two cards, and still beats Nvidia at every price point. It’s time to upgrade your GPU - RX 5600 XT

For the price and how new it is, this is one of the best Graphics Cards and budget gamers can get and it performs very well even when undervolted but if you do that note a dual monitor setup can cause occasional issues like hiccups in gameplay. Besides that, if you have one monitor or can give it more than enough watts, it'll do everything you ask it. Modern Warfare, Rocket League, Black Ops 3, Apex, Trackmania, GTA V, and Forza Horizon 5 all run well. One thing I will stress is to make sure you can supply it with more than enough power because if you cant it can cause issues

 Max out setting with dlss performance + rtx ultra = 110 to 120fps on single player mode. I cant hear any fan noise, the info menu shows a 'Smart HDR On or Off.

 And the best part is, EVGA aren't even the only company who attempted to raise the panel limits that high. ASUS did it as well, but the difference is that ASUS did it on the liquid-cooled card. The ROG RTX 3080 Ti Strix LC, and LC stands for liquid cooling if you have trouble keeping up. And from TechPower's findings, this graphics card seems to benefit way more from having that insanely high power limit, simply because it has the cooling to really make use of it all

 It is nice to have, there's other cards that also have this kind of high power limit, and they do the higher power limit way more justice because of the better cooling. And it's not even an EVGA fanboy thing as far as I can tell, because there's literally other cards in EVGA's lineup that also have this insanely high power limit. Those cards being the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid, which is called in a similar hybrid manner to the Strix LC from ASUS, and also the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hydro, which is also a water-cooled card, but this one being intended for custom water loops. So are you sensing a pattern here? Yes, this feature is clearly more intended to be something for water-cooled cards

EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA has a DIRTY SECRET?!

 Yes, I did get new blasters recently, thanks for noticing.

 So recently I made a video that clearly quite a few of you didn't like,

 because in that video I talked about what I thought was a pretty decent but overall

 average RTX 3080 Ti, but clearly quite a few took issue with that video.

 So what exactly happened? Was I wrong for once in my life?

 Was my judgement on this graphics card just incorrect?

 Well, I definitely missed one very big thing that fans of this card have definitely been pointing

 out. However, I mean that does not change the fact that there is some major issues

 about this card, so let's get into it shall we?

 So if you haven't watched that video, and you should, it's a good video.

 In that video I described the FDW3 Ultra as a fairly decent 3080 Ti that didn't redo anything

 special. It only had a mere four display outputs out back, it had fairly decent cooling and it

 didn't really have anything super special going for it. But quite a few people took objection

 to that, and many people quickly rushed to tell me about something that this card can do that

 apparently no other 3080 Ti can, and that is that you can set its panel limits all the way up to

 450 watts, and that should make room for some fairly decent boost clocks and overclocking

 potential. And what can surprise me is how many people treat that as some ultimate argument

 against my verdict for this card in that video, even though there is a very big caveat to this

 fact about this graphics card. Now yes, that kind of panel limit is very impressive on this card,
