Allen Edmonds Higgins Mill: 9D (Perfect too). Crockett & Jones Coniston: 8E (probably the boots that fit the most similar, shape and volume-wise). **Comfort**:. Even without the extra leather insole, these are comfortable boots

These boots are very well made and would be comfortable, I think, to most people. They ran a little large for me and I had to return them. The materials are top-notch and they look great with all kinds of pants. In general, these are up to Allen Edmonds general quality

I wanted to know if the MIE are really as good as people say and if there is a noticable difference between the MIE and made in other countries. Something I miss in my small collection is a pair of good, comfortable Docs. I own three platforms and one pair of Pascals, and the Pascals are really comfortable and I think I'll be able to walk in them for hours (only wore them once while my feet were beat up from walking a lot so I couldn't judge them), but I hear a lot of positive noise about the MIE boots and how they will last you years because of the good craftsmanship. Is it true and would it be a good future addition to my growing collection?
