For more extensive waterproofing, it also comes with a protective case that renders it waterproof to an advertised depth of 131 feet.

Like the GoPro HERO10 Black and GoPro HERO9 Black, this camera has a secondary front-facing screen that's helpful for vlogging. It has an intuitive menu system and a great battery life depending on what settings you use. You can also keep using it while it charges via USB-C, which is handy for longer shooting sessions. It can record 1080p video at up to 120 fps, which is great for slow-motion capture. Its stabilization feature does an excellent job of reducing camera shake in 1080p and works very well in 4k at slower speeds, though enabling it does incur a severe 1.6x crop, which is unfortunate.

Purchased this camera because, quite frankly, the price was exceptionally low for a 4K capable action camera. I was very surprised and delighted to get the unit and find all the accessories included, as well as the Apple like packaging. The image quality is very slightly below the $399.00 DJI Osmo Action, but cuts in as B roll, or whatever, very well with the other camera

Outstanding value in an action camera!

I was initially unhappy with this camera as the image stabilization wasn't able to cope with a choppy bike ride. I stuck with it as I didn't have enough time to get something else before baseball season, and I'm glad I did. Granted, for baseball the camera is stationary, so image stab isn't important. The quality is fantastic though

Good, not perfect

 This happens due to the software built into the camera and the user has little control over that. Most people wouldn't care much about this, and for my purposes, I really don't either!  There was only one thing I thought of that would make the camera package a little bit better and that was a cap for the lens would be nice. The camera is easily carried in a pocket and a lens cover would be helpful to keep the lens clean and free of scratches.  Overall, the AKASO Brave 7LE is a great little camera at a great price in this category of camera

 I set the camera at ISO 3200 and a 30sec exposure and pointed it at the milky way and hit the shutter button. I was totally blown away by the result! There it was, big and bright, with good contrast, the Milky Way. I really was not expecting at all to get that kind of result out of a camera like this!  Now, with that said, is it ALL rosy? Not exactly for those of us amature photographers that are a bit picky about the resulting photographs. Like most cameras that only provide 

  The Akaso Brave7 LE feels hefty for its size and appears well built and able to take a bit of a beating (although I admit, I wasn't willing to find out how much of a beating). It also harbors quite a few video and photographic modes and does well at them. My biggest gripe with cheaper cams has always been color balance. This is not an issue with the Brave 7LE

 My problems with that camera were very poor color balance and picture clarity. After mounting the Akaso Brave 7LE to the drone and running a couple of flights, I was completely satisfied with the image stabilizing system Akaso engineered into the camera and the quality of the video and stills. I am also very satisfied, at this price point, with all of the other modes of operation the camera provides.  One of the other modes of operation that really surprised me was the long exposure mode for stills

Great Economical Alternative To High Priced Action Cams

 This camera is water resistant without the case and if you put on the case you can even dive. the design its pretty cool, and it doesnt feel cheap at all, I love the front screen feature and that it has a touch screen, I also love that it comes with 2 batteries and a lot of accesories.

The one think that i really think could improve about this camera is the Image stabilization, when you are diving (even on diving mode) it almost seems like it doesnt have the feature, i still havent tried the camera outside the water, idk it might be a little better out of the water. I also note that thers a greenish look on the pictures and the angular view isnt very wide to be honest.

0 Image Stabilization really helps make the footage appear pretty stable even in rough conditions (It can get a little bouncy in really rough conditions, but if I remember I am wearing a cam and dont do crazy head bobs it comes out fine). The front screen is amazing to have after landing a fishing, because I can use the front screen to properly screen the shots. Burst mode is also super handy in this situation as fish do flop, and getting the perfect shot can be difficult.

 When I received my camera I wasn't able to charge the batteries because it came with either a faulty battery or USB cable. Wasn't sure which one was bad. I contacted customer service and they quicky sent me a new charger and cable and an additional 2 batteries that I didn't ask for.  Thank you Akaso for your quick response

 Over $500 on camera and accessories just so this thing can be more of a burden than a camera.  If you can stay away from this camera, i'd recommend doing so. If it helps any, i'm someone who is used to having an iPhone, which i find simple to use.

 Of course, if you don't already know this, recording on your GoPro in better qualities at better frame rates will also help drain the batteries fast. Why does this happen? I have no freaking idea and it pisses me off. I've read nightmarish reviews about the GoPro's and their batteries but wanted to find out for myself. According to some reviewers, they recommend that you remove the battery from the GoPro after use because it will overheat the camera and also harm the Micro SD card that is in the same slot as the battery! That's insane and uncalled for

  It takes NO TIME at all to drain these. Just using your GoPro to flip through settings, look at pics, or have On while using the app to download pics or use a a remote, will drain it at an amazingly fast rate.   It's really depressing that the GoPro brand cannot make a good battery, and also put a big price tag on their products.  I had a big vacation last month that i knew i was going to use the heck out of my GoPro Hero 6 on. I actually bought a spare battery that was on sale on Amazon for $16, then bought the GoPro brand Battery Charger and spare battery ($50), giving me 3 total. I've got to say, what a pathetic battery these are

 Let's start with one of the biggest improvements for the Hero 7 Black compared to its predecessors. this image or video stabilization or as Gopro likes to call it, hyper smooth stabilization. Yes, the previous versions also had image stabilization, but nothing compared to what you get on the Hero 7 Black. Hypersmooth really is the next level of electronic image stabilization on the Hero 7

 So if you need the hyper smooth stabilization on a higher frame rate, then that might be a reason to choose for the Hero 8 or 9.. Next, we're going to have a closer look to the video quality and colors of the Gopro Hero 7 Black And for comparison, I've added the Hero 5 on the right and the Hero 7 on the left. As you can see, the Hero 7 has more details, but also the colors are more saturated
