 I love the battery reliability and the ruggedness of the sight design. I shoot indoors and outdoors and I like how it does not fog up easily due to temp changes.  I haven’t even had to change the battery yet as the battery life is so good. It was easy to install and easy to sight in for great shooting accuracy

  The sight comes with a high quality mount that has a large tool-less tightening knob on the side for your mounting to your gun's rail. The knob is torque-limiting and as you pick the location on your rail that you want to use and then tighten the knob until it clicks 3 times and it is tight. After 200 rounds at the range I turned the knob and it easily clicked again so after a lot of use you should check the tightness of the scope.  In my video I flip up my Vortex 3X scope and I sight through the rear lens cap when it is down

The media could not be loaded. This is a marvelous red dot scope that provides exceptional shooting performance on the range. It is ultra-high quality and easy to sight in and use. This is a new design with changes to the caps that cover the elevation, windage and battery compartments

 This is BS and I can see people at the range, outdoors or in the military losing the cap and thus the Aimpoint Pro sight is no longer working. Heck I tightened the battery cover pretty tight and after 200 rounds it was loose just from gun vibration. This is a flaw IMHO of their design and they probably saved a nickel. It needs a strap and that is my only complaint about the scope

I went from using a cheap Aim Sports Aimpoint t1 knock off, which don't get me wrong it's a great optic for Airsoft, but nothing more, to the Aimpoint PRO. The first thing I noticed about it is its heft; nice and solid, and not too heavy. The mount that is included is pretty nice too.

 out on the end, and you can still look at your target and see the dot floating on your

 I tend to just go ahead and leave them flipped up when I shoot, but that's a cool feature.

 Also, I should note, there's a self-torquing mechanism here, so you click once and it locks

 it in place, and you will turn it again and it will click a second time, which torques

 Now you can take that base off and put something different on there.

 There's multiple other kind of mounts that you can run.

 I think I've seen people run Unity mounts.

 I think it has four night vision settings and six daytime settings, and it's really

 cool because you have this knob up here.

 You can just turn it and adjust it for your settings, which is really nice.

 That way I know my go-to when I'm normally out at the range, but there are some night

 vision settings, and that doesn't mean that it's invisible, but you can see it at night.

 That's literally for running nods and stuff like that.

 On top of that, this is probably one of the greatest optics that you can buy for the price.

 So I know you can get it on T-Rex for $445.

 Now what does the Pro stand for, Aimpoint Pro?

 People a lot of times will go for either an Aimpoint T2, which is extremely expensive

 It's a little dot, but it's also, I believe, a 1 MOA, and it's like $800 up close to $1,000

 This you can get for like half the price, and it's on the chunky side, but it does

 I personally like to go with the Aimpoint Pro over a lot of the other optics out there,

 just because, for one, I love the self-torquing thing, and like I said, I understand that

 it's a little bit bulky, but it's probably one of the easiest optics that you're ever

 You literally just throw it on and twist it twice, and you're good to go.
