 When I saw the City Sling release in x-pac material though, I new I had to go for it. Initial impressions are that it’s a very compact and organized.

 For a small sling, I’ve just bought the AER City Sling 2. Reasonable price from A UK stockist. It’s small, hugs the body and looks classy.

I have a bunch of backpacks, and a couple of briefcase-style bags/satchels, and a smaller messenger bag.  I'd like something to replace the old messenger bag, and I'm pretty set on a sling bag. 

I've read a pile of reviews, looking at things like the Fjallraven Greenland Pocket, the Bellroy City Pouch Plus, and the Are Day Sling Max.  

What I can't quite visualise is the size of these things; I really want something that can be small and compact, close to me for when I'm out on holiday just carrying wallet, phone etc, but maybe with space for expanding when I'm carrying more.  

Most I would generally carry would be AirPods Max and a Nintendo Switch in a small case; I could probably still use the messenger bag I have if I needed to carry a tablet or laptop.

Any recommendations?  I look at some and with photos of them with a phone in them, I worry that AirPods Max in their charging case wouldn't fit.

Sling Bag Recommendations

- Aer City Sling 2 (I liked the look, but it was a little bulky and the fidlock buckle was so sharp it kept scratching my neck whenever I’d take the sling off). I’m basically looking for something that’s compact and lightweight [that’ll store mostly flat so it can fit into my travel backpack with minimal bulk] that wont draw too much attention [i.e., no flashy colors] when I travel and walk around a new city

I quite like the Aer city sling 2 but that is a little too big of an investment, I just need a relatively cheap  (£30-£50, I don't know if that's too low, like the titles says, I am very new to this) sling bag that looks nice and also has atleast 4 pockets or so. There probably isn't a bag that fits all my needs but all suggestions will be hugely appreciated.

Not what I was looking for

 This will fit up to something like a surface pro so your eye pads are great inside. You'll find all-weather cover now that's a separate cover now so that you can take it and leave it behind on a dry day. If you want to save a bit of weight front of this pocket, you'll find a key, leash and pen organization as well as a general use pocket. The forward-most pocket of your open or non device zone

 That means that that coating is gonna take abrasion, water, wet, and wear before it even gets to the fibers that make up this fabric. So the top half of this bag is a 300 E rib stop. That's great because we get all the strength of that grid in a lighter weight fabric and this 300 D is coated on the back side of the urethane and on the exterior with a durable water resistant. The top zone of this pack is your everyday essentials

 We've made it as light as we can for that kind of comfort. But really, it's about mechanical comfort, right? So we've got new shape on our sling strap. We have a large area of mesh that wraps around the strap, so if that is touching your neck, it's gonna be nice and comfy. We've added a new style of stability strap to this pack, so this is a removable strap

 needed something to carry in, but didn't really want to take a full on rig. and the audio 350 is so big that even things like just putting it under a table in a cafe becomes a bit awkward. So that's why I went for the Slingshot as something much more minimalist and that's what we're going to try out today. So with all that said, let's have a look at the slingshot, measure it, get all the details I could possibly can about it, and also show a little bit of information about how I'm actually going to use it

 There's a zip pocket on the top front face of the bag, giving you about a 17.5 centimeter opening into a pocket that extends 12 centimeters down and five centimeters up. This pocket is subdivided with the back section being made of an orange, soft anti-scratch material. PERFECT RUN & GUN CAMERA BAG? Detailed review of Lowepro Slingshot SL 250 AW IIII

 The manufacturing of the Slingshot SL 250 AW III pack was good, however, the design of it was limited for flexibility and limited in storage of small accessories, unlike the the Slingshot 200. It's OK, but I gave it to my granddaughter.

Average, nothing special.....

It is pictured with a lens that cannot possibly fit in the bag. Anything wider than 7-8" in any direction is not going to fit here.

 The 1st one ordered was missing the stabilizer strap and I needed this case for my trip in a couple of days. Checking to get the missing strap LOWEPRO replied I had to contact the original shipping company and AMAZON said to contact LOWEPRO !?!?!? So I just ordered the second one from Amazon. Luckily the second arrived in time and I returned the 1st case upon returning from my trip.
