Zhiyun Crane M2

For a DSLR... no. One of the cheapest gimbals that isn't just for a phone is the Crane m2, but it'll fit a small mirrorless camera and a light lens at most. The only way you could get a gimbal for a DSLR is to go used; I've seen older (but larger) gimbals for \~$200 USD but the used market in your area might differ from mine.

After some research on budget gimbals the Crane M2 looks really good, however I have a couple of concerns:. 1: On Zhiyun’s site, it says the camera is compatible, however recording functionality is unavailable specifically with the a6000.

I got the crane-m2 because people said the M50 worked with it but my god does this thing have a mind of its own. It does not stabilize well, it randomly turns on its own, and will also randomly scream beeps at me and go limp (insert fun joke here). BestBuy said I can return it if it does not work and I plan on doing so because this is frustrating. I needed one for class to get some shots for a project but it turns out I this crane-m2 is just a huge hassle, not to mention I cant even connect the app to my camera nor can it control the zoom or anything.
