My first pair of brand new speakers, Klipsch R-41M on the desk for some good music while gaming
They’re the first speakers I’ve actually had to set up with my own speaker wire so it’s been a bit of a learning experience getting them set up, but now that they’re set up I couldn’t be happier with how they sound. I’ve got them hooked up to my Yamaha R-S202 with an old TEAC CD changed, vintage JVC cassette deck, and a fairly new Audio Technica AT-LP120.

A versatile system
We are a couple in our 70's and live a quiet existence in a retirement community; thus, we have no need for pulsating music or a boisterous party atmosphere. This is a basic system with numerous features that we treasure: 1) Bluetooth 2) cd channel/connection 3) three extra audio ports, one of which...

Best two channel receiver available for the money.
If you use this receiver to try to power low efficiency (87dB or less) speakers you will probably be disappointed. Mine powers two Klipsch RP61 ii speakers which have an rating of 95dB and the sound and amount of available volume is admirable.

No way to beat this amplifier for the price
We use it for background music at our store. We had a lower-quality amplifier for about 6 months and the finals burned out. We can get a new one of theirs under warranty but I wandered around the web and found this unit from Yamaha for this great price. It was a no-brainer. We need our music and we ...

Absolutely zero issues.
I have been using this receiver for about a week now. I am upgrading my stereo system from my old 35 year old Pioneer D705s. From other reviews I read some people had issues with it shutting off while using Bluetooth. I played it all night long and when I woke up it was still playing, at least for m...

Need suggestions for very budget but good value amplifier
You can get a refurbished Yamaha R-S202 for $130 at Accessories 4 less. Second hand, look for a stereo amplifier by one of the major manufacturers. Denon, Marantz, Onkyo, Yamaha, Pioneer. Should be fairly easy to find something unless you live way out in the wilderness.

Excellent receiver
This is no frills basic receiver that delivers excellent sound. If you want a receiver that doesn't need an internet this one to take a serious look at. You don't need to adjust speaker distance have to set up bass management. I wish it had a loudness button. You hook up your CD player, CD recorder,...
