Nice! Same here. I recently upgraded earlier this year with a Cambridge Audio AXR100 and those same speakers. The improvement over my class d powered JBL monitors is amazing.

Cambridge Audio AXR100 at $500 and may be worth every penny.

the unit sounds great with one problem...if you like your music even semi loud the unit shuts down, very aggravating if i knew this was going to happen would have opted for different system..

With that said, if you are not in a rush to pull together the setup, buying used or sale would certainly help you to stay below $750. I haven't seen much sale or used stuff from Yamaha or Denon but the Cambridge Audio AXR100 refurbished went as low as $200 on their official Ebay store and the AXR85 was even less. You can also consider the compact amplifier (class D) offerings which can put you in the $200 or less range and leave a bigger budget for your speakers.

Had everything I needed, speaker A/B inputs, sub out, and an option to hook up my turntable. But the major flaw is that the fan is very loud when you turn the music to louder volumes.

Cambridge Audio AXR100 is retailing for $530 factory refurbished on ebay. SMSL makes an USB-to-optical converter for $50.

Bluetooth range is insufficient. When my phone is just eight feet away the signal cuts off. The remote is a kluge. Very counterintuitive. The sound is excellent.
