I just got done riding the Volkl Secret 92. This is a great all-mountain ski.

The volkl secret is on the heavy/ demanding side. I wouldnt recommend that ski to an intermediate unless you're expecting to get a lot of days in and you are looking to advance your skills.

It did fine on groomers but if you're going to be skiing mostly on piste I would consider looking into better options. Within Volkl's line, the Secret 96 is much stiffer and has better piste performance while still being able to handle all but the deepest softest stuff off the piste. Handles the crud amazingly well- will blast through anything while still not being an overly demanding ski with the newer construction. The older Secret 92 is a different story.

Sounds like you should go for some all mountains. I love my Volkl Secret 92s - great on pretty much everything, really fun in powder, still able to carve and cut through icy slopes, fast and easy to ride.

Granddaughter loved them! Looking forward to seeing her on the slopes when we head to Utah in January. She has never skied out west so should be fun .
