That's one of the things that I would say was some, one of my takeaways on the Deakin line was just how much pop came out of the turn.

If you can ski the Kendo 88, there's nothing too advanced about the Deacon 84. You'll just be getting a good price on a better frontside ski.

I got volkl deacon xt in 168, 76 width. I’m on the east coast with a lot of icy snow. That was a complete waste of $. Just after a week, when I started to go faster, the skis were chattering, skidding and catching the lines left by other ppl.

* Volkl Deacon 84 (a really nice, really high performance all mountain ski) - maybe the best budget, high end, professional-level, all mountain ski. Also has some compromises in being all those things. * Head Super Shape - the name says it all. They are the Sir Mix A Lot of skis and they just nail it for turns from short radius (eg: bumps and trees) to big GS-style carving turns.

The difference is not much, probably to the point were it won’t make to much of a difference the biggest difference is the energy the ski will have. I saw you saying you tried the Deacon 84 a while ago and said it was dead. The M6 has gotten better with both the tailored titinal frame and weave ip in the tip add life into the ski. It is a volkl though which means it will turn when it wants to turn and pretty much plow threw stuff instead of float on top.
