I've been using a Verilux light for years and bought this one, even before before my larger fluorescent one died, because I wanted the smaller, more compact LED version. I'm glad I've got this going now that our days are getting shorter. The options of light-levels and time will be useful for anyone whose had problems in the past (for example, a relative rejected light therapy after a day or two because it gave her a headache: this offers some easy alternatives.)

A few design issues: It's a bit hard to set the timer. My right hand obscures the bottom of the dial so I can't see when I've illuminated six segments for 30 minutes. My left hand has trouble getting the timer control started. It would be easier if the five-minute segments could be selected by taps rather than holding

Light intensity is really good. Product quality is also high, the finish is really professional. Easy to set up and use. It would be great if it had a function to mimic sunrise, set it up to turn on with soft light in the morning and slowly increase intensity
