 The brushed feel on the surface makes it comfortable against your clothing, or if you decide to go without a shirt, it's going to be comfortable against your skin. The wave skull itself also has the Xt mesh the special perimeter binding, but it has a pocket on each side of the hip belt. again accessible on the Go. You put large bulky items and the main compartment

 These were developed for the athletes who wants to carry bottles on the side and not on the front but still have them accessible on the go. Very easy to get the ball in and out, but because it's a stretchy mesh in the way we've shaped it, it's going to keep the bottle from launching and it certainly winter. Ryan Each shoulder strap is also designed very unique as well. To the bottom part of the left shoulder strap has two stretchy mesh pockets, one that runs all the way down and the one outer one that's a little shorter

 Next to mesh is going to draw the moisture away from your skin. We've also shaped the shoulder straps in such a way that you're going to get long-term comfort out of this. so we've made it so it goes around the neck, muscles comes out through the front, cuts away from the shoulder so you're able to move your arms with freedom and then cuts back to the side so that everything is very comfortable. Then, in addition to create comfort, we've added a special polyester binding elastic with a breast feel on the surface

 Then on this right side, similar to the left side, you have another zippered mesh pocket. Here as you can see the back panel and the shoulder straps are lined with our Xt mesh. Next to mesh is going to draw the moisture away from your skin. We've also shaped the shoulder straps in such a way that you're going to get long-term comfort out of this

A Look at the UltrAspire Epic XT Hydration Pack

 The buckle on the top chest strap rides on my collar bone. The strap itself tends to end up near my Adam's apple. Usually I left this strap open to avoid the discomfort.

I recently purchased the UltraAspire Epic XT hydration pack for a series of day hikes in the Sierras, including Palisade Glacier and Mt. Whitney.  Over a ten day period, I wore the pack for 43 hours, covering 70 miles and 18,000 feet of elevation gain (and an equal amount of elevation loss).

Great weight and pockets but some discomfort

The first thing we did is we increased the capacity by adding a little bit of depth here, so it moved from 25 to 30 liters

 Ergofit harness system is going to be tapered at the shoulders so that you don't get neck fatigue. So when it comes out of the pack, we taper it so it's a natural taper comes out here. Cut back here, curve in here, curve around and curve back again. less shoulder fatigue, freedom of movement in the arms here and then nice and secure across the chest here

 On this side, the bottom pocket. we have a four-way stretch mesh outer pocket. Here we have sweat proof pocket here. This is where I'll put my cell phone

 both sides the same energy foods and in reach satellite communicator. you can put a lot of things in here and to keep them nice and handy again, keeping everything accessible on the go. Ultraspire Epic XT 30L pack for Hut2Hut 2022 multi day racers

Have hiked about 100 miles with this so far. The straps are a little short for me (5’11” and 190 lb), although comfortable. The top pockets end up being behind my shoulders so not accessible when pack is on. Great for lighter loads (>15 lbs)

 My last hike was 34 miles over two days with about 19 lbs.. by end of day 2 my hips were slightly sore due to weight and waist belt only comes around half way, other than that I like it, just wish it came in an XL.

 I will start at the top; top pocket zipper and inside are a great size for lights, etc and I can access it without removing the pack, this is also true for the latch points for poles/jacket BOTH on the back of the pack and bottom of the pack... The mods to the waist pockets were spot on, as I can now put a water filter, squeeze bottle, and purification tabs in 1 spot and process water without pack removal
