Gregory Inertia 20 Hydration Pack

Bummed the 20L size appears to be going the way of the dinosaurs since it's the perfect day pack size imo. 

The load lifter straps were a welcome sight as they're usually only present on larger pricier packs. That was an appreciated and helpful addition. 

To give an idea of my use case I mainly just go on pretty laid back mostly flat trail walks of one to four hours but I live in an area that gets triple digit hot so a hydration pack is a must even on short outings. Even just existing outside in the summer needs plenty water of some sort.

The large finger friendly zipper pulls are nice but the way they're put on they exert force at the side of the zipper not the end which means some binding if I pull fast. The solution for that is easy though: just pull them slowly.

Very happy with it so far

 Both pockets are large enough to fit a cellphone in a wallet. The nursery is very comfortable, and that's due to its lightweight at only one point five Nine pounds, as well as its adjustability as many adjustable straps, including the easy adjustable hip belt in the adjustable magnetic sturdy strap. There are two side mesh pockets with each of them has their own strap which is perfect if you take the bladder if to hold water bottle. There's also a large posterior mesh pocket that is a top clip which is great for throwing stuff into the pack when you're on the go

 And the zippers. They're super easy to get a finger in there into the opening so you can easily pull on those zippers with some good money. The other thing is the top handle, which is super easy to grab. It's so simple, but it sits nicely and easy to get a full hand in there so you can grab it

This is the Gregory inertia 25 liter day pack, it's a neat little day pack, that's streamlined and simple, but gives you plenty of features that are totally trail worthy. This is the perfect size pack to take out for a short day on your favorite trail, no matter what that trail requires. It even includes a 3d hydro reservoir to keep you hydrated efficiently over a long day. Despite the packs small size, it has a really effective suspension system that can handle your water weight

 The back panel is a mesh covered, ventilated foam material, that's flexible, but still supportive. There is a sheet in here that creates a bit of framing to give you just enough stability for the pack of this size. You'Ll find plush, contoured, shoulder straps and a lightly padded, ventilated, hip belt. To give you the comfort and extra stability on the trail, the pack even has load lifter straps, despite its small size, to bring that load closer to your back for additional stability

 It has enough space for some snacks and packed lunch , a pair of clothes and a jacket . The shoulder straps and back support has a bit less cushion . I miss having the small zippers on the hip strap where I usually keep my chews and gums for easy access .

 The buckle on the top chest strap rides on my collar bone. The strap itself tends to end up near my Adam's apple. Usually I left this strap open to avoid the discomfort.

I recently purchased the UltraAspire Epic XT hydration pack for a series of day hikes in the Sierras, including Palisade Glacier and Mt. Whitney.  Over a ten day period, I wore the pack for 43 hours, covering 70 miles and 18,000 feet of elevation gain (and an equal amount of elevation loss).

 The brushed feel on the surface makes it comfortable against your clothing, or if you decide to go without a shirt, it's going to be comfortable against your skin. The wave skull itself also has the Xt mesh the special perimeter binding, but it has a pocket on each side of the hip belt. again accessible on the Go. You put large bulky items and the main compartment

 These were developed for the athletes who wants to carry bottles on the side and not on the front but still have them accessible on the go. Very easy to get the ball in and out, but because it's a stretchy mesh in the way we've shaped it, it's going to keep the bottle from launching and it certainly winter. Ryan Each shoulder strap is also designed very unique as well. To the bottom part of the left shoulder strap has two stretchy mesh pockets, one that runs all the way down and the one outer one that's a little shorter

 Next to mesh is going to draw the moisture away from your skin. We've also shaped the shoulder straps in such a way that you're going to get long-term comfort out of this. so we've made it so it goes around the neck, muscles comes out through the front, cuts away from the shoulder so you're able to move your arms with freedom and then cuts back to the side so that everything is very comfortable. Then, in addition to create comfort, we've added a special polyester binding elastic with a breast feel on the surface

 Then on this right side, similar to the left side, you have another zippered mesh pocket. Here as you can see the back panel and the shoulder straps are lined with our Xt mesh. Next to mesh is going to draw the moisture away from your skin. We've also shaped the shoulder straps in such a way that you're going to get long-term comfort out of this
