 Those are best enjoyed after you decant or aerate to appreciate the wine flavor.  Overall Verdict: You be the judge. If you are heavily into your wine, frequently consume or socially entertain with the higher sulfate traditionally lower cost sweet, semi or young red wines and are sensitive to sulfates and their impact then this is a good solution. Realizing the cost upfront and frequency of use will be you largest decision and knowing ULLO is not for ALL wines

 I researched on something that could make the experience of drinking wine that was young or sweeter without the consequences of the headache and sensitivity to sulfates. Enter ULLO, which I purchased 3 weeks ago. Here is my own subjective review of this interesting wine accessory: IMO It Does In Fact filter sulfates and the dozen or so bottles we used our ULLO on sweet to semi-dry wines that we served at social events and smaller gatherings did not give guests or us traditionally headaches or even individual reactions to those sensitive to wine. SULFITES in WINE and How to FILTER SULFITES from Wine for Beginners | Üllo The Wine Purifier Review

  At the end of the day, if you want wine entirely without sulfites, you should just spend the time and money to find an unsulfited wine. If you want to just be able to have a glass, maybe 2, and not look and feel like you got hit by a truck, Üllo might be an option. Good luck in your quest.  I had no idea that his was defective until today when I was at his house for dinner (nearly four months after I purchased it for him). It was impossible for me to attach the bottom piece that holds the filter and he said it had been like that from the start, which I wasn't aware of. I also was not able to push the used filter out like I can push mine out. I have sent a message to the company see if they will honor their product and replace it for me

I CAN ENJOY WINE AGAIN!!!!

A great idea turns out as an expensive novelty! We are in our 50's and wine drinkers. I am from a wine drinking area in Europe. When I heard about this product on TV I was hooked! I need to say that we are white wine drinkers. Maybe a benefit can be noticed for red wine

 You need to wait until the wine is thru and refill. Forget offering this to guest: it takes even longer when we had guest of 4. Maybe, this works when you pour red wine into a carafe but who has that? 2. You need to replace the filter after each bottle! You pay about $30 for a 10-pack! Wow! This looks like the printer business selling ink and not printers

Can't see any benefit, takes a long time to filter, need to buy a lot of expensive filters
