I’m thinking of upgrading from my atlp60xbt lp gear stylus soon. I’m interested in the U-turn Orbit, Fluance Rt series and others of in the sub $500 available turntable in current availability of new turntables out there.

U-Turn Orbit is a $200 turntable that lacks user adjustable anti-skate, the cue lever is an extra $40, and adding options to increase the price does not make the turntable or tonearm any better. Pass.

Orbit Plus Turntable

Well packaged and arrived on time. This turntable was easy to set up, it only took about 2 minutes. The audio quality is awesome.

Right now I'm leaning towards the U-Turn Orbit ($200) and NEUMI powered speakers ($160). I have the option to get a preamp built into the U-Turn for an additional $70.

Which Turntable should I buy from this list?

Out of this list, I'd say go with either the U-Turn Orbit Plus, the Fluance RT82, or the Pro-Ject Primary E. Be aware that for the Fluance and Pro-Ject turntables, you're going to need to get an external phono preamp. My recommendations are either the Schiit Mani or the Pro-Ject Phono Box. For the U-Turn Orbit Plus, there's a model with a built-in phono preamp, but there's also a model without -- make sure you know which one you're getting.
