With all the overly complicated contraptions out there clogging up the flow of life, the Travelwey Home Digital's simplicity is much appreciated. The slider dimmer for the display is intuitive and effective. The redundant battery power source and the night light are welcome features for those traveling with the clock. Additionally, the grippy rubber feet are a nice touch for those groggy users swatting at the snooze button.  
Speaking of the snooze button, we would have preferred the ability to adjust the length of the snooze interval. As it is, the Travelwey is fixed at 5 minutes intervals. This alarm is also limited by its lack of display colors, a radio, and a phone charger port. However, you can adjust the alarm volume to either high or low with the flip of a switch, which is a nice touch. All in all, this is a simple and practical machine at a reasonable price.

 It's on high now, which it needs to be. It says in the instructions it needs to be on the high setting when you set the time and the alarms, but now it's on high. I'm going to show you as switch it down a little bit. It gets dimmer and dimmer because sometimes it can be too bright and you can't sleep with that light

 where, moving it even the slightest bit after that causes it to go off entirely. Similarly, when it is at the lowest spot, I could move it quite a bit before it popped on at all, and by then it was too bright for what I wanted. (I should point out that while it was too bright for what I wanted, it was still much less bright than the LOW setting on clocks that have just 2 brightness choices.) I don't really know HOW I got it to where it is now, which is how I want it

 The problems with the dimmer just got worse. The slider will move a good quarter of the way from the "off" to the highest setting before it comes on at all. And by then, it is almost as bright as regular much cheaper clocks. And since the digits are so big, it emits just as much sleep disrupting light

 If you play with it long enough, you can sometimes get it to go slightly dimmer. But it always fluctuates its way back to either off or that same 25% brightness within a few minutes. The company sent me a replacement, but that was just as bad. So it seems like a limitation of the LEDs

Even stranger, though, on one of the cocks, If I have it right around that 25% mark, I can make it go on and off by squeezing the clock itself. This helps to get it slightly dimmer, but as I mentioned, it eventually goes back to the lower level that is too bright for my liking

Full range brightness is a bit misleading

 There's a PM light right there at LED and you see it's not lit. so we're at 1:00 a.m. You can see that the alarm is not set or on if I hit that red button right there that turns the alarm on and off and you can see the LED coming on and off right there and a little word alarm
