Now with this motor, you've actually got a pedal. You've got a press hard if you want to go fast. Okay, it does make you work for it

Tongsheng TSDZ2 (aftermarket kit): 500w nominal -- does not seem to peak as high as the BBS02. Torque sensing motor similar to Shimano and Bosch. Open Source firmware available from the community is somewhat difficult to set up, but once you do, it absolutely transforms the motor.

The choice is up to you. 5 miles really isnt much. You could strap a TSDZ2 and battery on your current bike and get longer range as well.

You need a torque sensing TSDZ2 for quicker response in the technical too. That's the trifecta. Lots lighter for best handling another that expensive to give you the full gamut.

I think a TSDZ2 on that bike would be spectacular. It uses a torque sensor and isn’t too overpowered.

Takes the pressure off and I can ride fast like I used to! I can't say enough that this torque-sensing is worth every penny. I tried out some other bikes with hub and bafang mid motors and didn't like it much. But this torque sensing tsdz2 is totally phenomenal for the price.

Get a TSDZ2 kit and apply it to different bikes as she grows. You udo not have to use a throttle and you can speed restrict it on assist.

I tried several ebikes and found that, for my needs, a torque sensing bike was the way to go. I have a decent bike so I've ordered a Tongsheng TSDZ2 since it's about the only torque sensing conversion setup that's available right now.
