This paste includes Sodium Lauryl Sulfate &#40;SLS&#41; derived from coconut or plan kernel oil.   Also, the plastic holding the flip-open lid on is very cheap/weak and very easily cracks and breaks off.  I hope they’ll keep the toothpaste the same but start over with the lid design.

The lid/cap on these is very poor quality.  First, there is a very small and poorly designed indentation where you have to press to open the cap, and it’s hard to to exert enough pressure especially if your hands are wet or if you have arthritis or poor grip strength.  Also, the plastic holding the flip-open lid on is very cheap/weak and very easily cracks and breaks off.  I hope they’ll keep the toothpaste the same but start over with the lid design

Good toothpaste, packaging needs work

I always buy Tom’s of Maine… children toothpaste the strawberry flavored. This latest 3 pk when pushed out the toothpaste, it was grayish in color, Normally it is white, tasted it and the taste was slightly off… didn’t taste as it normally does but, I guess it’s useable so I will keep it… Next time I order this, I will immediately open it and if it is the same as this pack, then I’m returning it and will look for another brand of toothpaste

Too old???

A bit gritty and weak taste as compared to Tom's grape, their new flavor. Not sure if it cleans better than grape, though, since grape is less gritty. Still, so much better than peppermint or spearmint, the usual toothpaste flavors.

 When it gets here, he still has a tube and a half left of the last batch. This order got here on June 12, but we're just opening the first tube on August 31. He opened it, and even though it isn't the usually white color, but a processed-sewage-looking gray, he tried it. He immediately spit it out and told me it tastes like "rotten old potato chips"

What happened?!

 I finally was able to buy another tube for ours is running low. She opt'd for the new tube and one little taste started to gag and cry saying it doesn't taste good and is the wrong toothpaste. Looking closer at the tubes and doing a test myself, sure enough, the ingredients differ from the old and the new tubes. Slight changes but enough to now being stuck with two new tubes and a kid which will no longer use this toothpaste

the formula has changed

I have been using this product for years and

I have used this product since 2016 when I developed an allergy to mint. It tasted good, had good cavity fighting capability and was recommended by my dentist. I recently opened a new tube to find that it now tastes like plastic. I read the ingredients and realized they have had several things added and now it's making my mouth burn
