  You can use any mattress. It can be coil, memory foam, hybrid.. any kind you want or already have

 I cut a slit in the seam of the skirt to fit over that lip. I bought a cheaper solid color skirt so that I wasn't ruining one of my good ones to the comforter sets.  It is a totally solid, durable frame and you can tell it is built to last. It's not something that you will spend an arm and a leg on and need to replace in a few years

 This adjustable frame was the answer I needed. Of course it is nice for other things too like watching tv, nursing a baby, etc.  The frame has a lip piece to keep the mattress from sliding off and as an added bonus it helps keep the sheet on the bed too. Using a bed skirt was a little tricky

While I would like to give the TEMPUR-Ergo Plus-Grey Adjustable Base, Queen a 5-star rating that would only be possible if the TEMPUR-Flex Hybrid Prima Mattress,Queen had been delivered to me as TEMPUR had promised, the point in time I had chosen to order the Adjustable Base bed through the Vine program (in their defense, when I identified the issue to Vine, the did work hard to rectify the problem but TEMPUR chose to ignore it). The Adjustable bed works great -- the head and foot going up and down flawlessly. The design and manufacturing of the bed are excellent, the sub-frame and the raising/lowering mechanisms are of heavy gauge materials and should last a long time. The cloth accents are done well and likewise should give good service--now if we only had a mattress

For the want of mattress...

 It moves up and down with ease at the head and feet, even with the regular mattress. The coinciding app is nice to have to run it as well. The massage feature didn't feel right with a regular mattress, but I am sure that it would be nicer with the right topper. Obviously, this would be even more comfortable with the tempur pedic top mattress, but it was nice to know that it will still function with a regular one for the time being

Sturdy frame! The legs were simple to put on, and the remote connected right away. We are currently using this with just a regular mattress verses a tempur top mattress, but the the features still work well. It moves up and down with ease at the head and feet, even with the regular mattress. The coinciding app is nice to have to run it as well

I have a lot of severe neck pain and sleeping seems to make it so much worse, yet sleeping in a recliner is much better. So I’m very hopeful this is a good alternative. By chance, I already had an inexpensive twin mattress, but it’s not the XL size which is 80 inches long

 I really like this adjustable bed. I've learned that the more extreme positions are not the most comfortable for me. Just a small tilt in the upper body suffices along with a slight bend in my knees. It's just enough and too much makes my neck hurt even worse - everything in moderation

 So I’m very hopeful this is a good alternative. By chance, I already had an inexpensive twin mattress, but it’s not the XL size which is 80 inches long. But it’s close enough to use for now until I can find a suitable soft XL Twin mattress. If you aren’t very tall, you don’t necessarily need the XL length

Needed a Hospital Style Bed for Decades for Neck Pain

 Not ideal - I would like to be able to just have it jiggle my head non-stop with no pausing, but alas.  Really, if the amount of massage you are getting in your bed is your biggest complaint, your bed is pretty top-notch.  MATTRESS: I tried this bed out first with an inner spring mattress, and it worked fine. Then I tried a 12" memory foam Loom & Leaf mattress and oh my

 It is like I've been sleeping in the 4th century and suddenly I am living in the future. My back no longer aches if I sleep in a funky position, I don't ever get kinked necks from stacking 5 pillows under my head any more and reading in bed is so much more comfortable. I'm tempted to buy the non-massaging version to complete the "king" set (two twin-xl make up a king), since the massage is nice, but I could live without it. Otherwise, this will change your freakin' life

  FRAME: I wanted to use my existing bed frame with this bed, and the TEMPUR-Ergo has been cleverly designed to fit inside existing frames. I had to do a little bit of hacking, but I removed the slats from my platform bed and took out the center support, since this bed is a support all to itself - you don't need additional support inside your frame. Then, my husband and I lowered the bed into the frame and PERFECT. It fits like it was made to go together

  I really don’t have any negatives to say about it. It really does transform an ordinary bed into something extraordinary. I know the guest room just got an upgrade. I will have to start watching out for requests for extended stays! Easy 5 stars!

 It works well.  The headboard and footboard are nicely done. The upholstery in grey is a nice neutral color and goes with just about anything. I think the look is both simple and classic

 This one by contrast is very quick to setup. It has very good support for your mattress and will uphold and quality to keep your mattress warranty in effect as this one is very sturdy.  The single stainless steel foot-bar is necessary to keep the mattress from sliding off the end of the bed. You will have to get used to making up the sheets with it there, but after a while it will become second nature to you

Ordinary Bed to Extraordinary Bed.

 For whatever reason, I now sleep better laying on my back, with one major complication: laying on my back on a regular bed actually gives me headaches due to pressure on the back of my skull. I have found, however, that I sleep well on a regular reclining chair. I contemplated buying a pair of wedges for my mattress, one to elevate my shoulders and one to elevate my knees. But that is not a substitute for a superb mattress with a base that adjusts your mattress into the correct sleep

 I'm getting better and longer and more restful sleep. During the day I'm more alert and focused. Just one sign has been a great improvement in my concentration in reading. Getting both the bed and the base is not cheap and frankly I would not have been able to purchase either one on my own

  The quality of this base matches completely the quality of the mattress they make. The mattress supplements the outstanding qualities of a first-rate memory foam mattress with the better qualities of non-memory foam mattress. I've had pure memory foam mattresses, but the Tempur-Pedic mattresses are absolutely superb. I have been able to get off my recliner and back into bed
